is it okay to add soil throughout the grow? this is my first grow and i didn't account for the major soil compaction ive had over the first 5 weeks. Would i have to lay off nutes to account for new ocean forest?

You can always add soil to the top, keep the roots from showing, and keeps air from getting down the side of container. Just keep up with your nutes like always.

I always add soil after they pop and I see where the first set of leaves are going to be, it ends up giving the plant more strength to hold the buds up in my opinion. On the same note, planting them deeper would probably solve the whole problem but then you'd have to wait a week to see them pop thru the soil instead of 2 - 3 days.

I myself wait for them to out grow there current container, then transplant in a 3 gallon and like la9 I bury them up to there first set of real leaves.
