ok, been wondering what to get for a couple of months now and im down to NL from seedsman. or LSD from Barneys farm.

Northern Lights

I need a good smelling plant with good bag appeal and high. They will be grown in hydro, in an ebb and flow system with 400w hps.

I would appreciate if someone could maybe give me a better seed company to buy the NL from. but i like the price from Seedsman. If anybody could give me any info on the Seedsman NL i would appreciate it, is it high quality or am i better off just getting the LSD from barneys farm?

yah it does. what im concerned about it the bag appeal. i dont know much about LSD because its fairly new and there arent many reports on bud structure. i want a dense bud filling up my bowl lol. bongsmilie

IMO if you want a solid commercial strain then NL is good and well known, you already know it will move. LSD would be a better personal smoke and maybe you'd be able to get a premium because of it being unique and since it was just featured in HighTimes recently as a top cannabis cup strain there are plenty of people thinking the same thing right now.

Wow!! I was gonna suggest NL because it is proven, fast, dank and great bag appeal and because the LSD high description sounds Sativa to me. I figured it was gonna be a bitch for SOG...But after reading the link, the physical description sounds like it would be great for SOG (still possibly weeks longer than NL though).

That assumes a GOOD NL though and I've been shopping myself. All the responses I got asking about seedsman's NL were not so good. KC Brains won some cups with their NL, but lots of people on RIU slagged on the KCB NL recently. I grew Sensi's NL in the late eighties and at that point in time there wasn't another strain that came close for SOG productivity, easy and trouble free. I let one clone go for at least an extra month trying to get a male flower and she wouldn't turn.

Seems you are strapped for cash...it might come down to this if it was me... Start up with the fast strain so you can get some scratch together to grow the stuff you really want to smoke :eyesmoke::blsmoke::eyesmoke:

What NL do you suggest that I can get in the states. I think you said dr. atomics before, right? any personal experience with any of the NL strains would really be appreciated:hump:.

Sagarmatha, White Label, and Seedsman are all pretty inexpensive.. personally from the NL I've smoked, most are pretty similar. Haven't had the chance to grow it yet, but I hear it's tit to grow.

ok well i have the prepaid visa ready with 50 bucks on it USD and it isnt going to cover the LSD+ stealth shipping.. so can anybody suggest another strain. How about the white rhyno or silver pearl from nirvana? need something under 30$ with indica dominant phenos. if not will the Seedsman seeds NL suit my needs?

ok i narrowed it down to the most affordable high quality indica strains. its out of the Nirvana White Rhino and Nirvana Northern Lights. so if anybody can help me decide which to pick i would be very greatfull. I need good bag appeal, density, nice smell, potency and yield. out of these two which would be a better pick? And if you had a choice to smoke NL or WR which wouldy ou choose?

That brings us back to the KC Brains question (mine). KC Brains NL has won at least one cup...like $18 at the 'Tude....they get REALLY mixed reviews here, but so does Nirvana. Just about every time the argument goes like this "they are too fucking cheap to be good!", their brains can't seem to handle it that something could be inexpensive and good. I've read GREAT reviews of their haze special, swiss XT and Leda Uno
for sure. LU has won a couple of cups too by the way. They are ALL priced THE SAME. I've read the guy who owns KC doesn't want to hype the seeds, he just want everyone to be able to smoke great weed.

Agreed they all taste and smoke pretty similar, but it's the growth pattern that made her a champ. Short, fast, dank, easy to clone, low odor during grow, great stank in the bag.

Yes, I would grow (and do grow) crazy tall Sativa stains in my short set up, but i would feel ripped off if I bought NL and it grew like that. It has a great, but decidedly indica stone. I don't want to have to LST or supercrop or wait extra weeks for something that has the same stone as a short, 7-8 week true NL.

so i guess i showed my real reason for a real NL...$$$$:weed: it's a great cash cropper. Back to the original question, I've had someone tell me they ran Nirvana's NL X Big Bud and the smoke was every bit as good as Nirvana's straight NL.

ok so i looked at the mandala seeds and i like Hashberry, it has an appealing name and very good description. But on another thread i posted people were saying nirvana is ripping people off, im thinking of ordering Nirvanas White Rhino from attitude, so better to get Nirvanas White Rhino or Mandalas Hashberry?
