magnifier for trichomes?

what kind of magnifier do I need to view the trichomes? what strength? how much does it cost? where can I get one?

i cant remember were i got mine but it is a tasco 14 x before i got it i used a old rifle scope if u turn it backwards it works great

TO BE HONEST MAGNIFINE GLASS ARE CRAP.... I got a natural history museum pocket microscope. 20x-40x its a beast for less than £20 its able to see inside a trichome and is lit up by powerful led"s,or what eva they called (the fucking crystles).lol.
this is really what u need. just type on net pocket microscopes im sure you will find 1

Here is what I like

It has 3 lenses, 5x 10x and 15x, $8.99 other people have it and like it also, but keep in mind many on here will tell you that it won't work because 15x isn't enough. All you need to do is be able to see the color of the trichromes and you don't have to mess with getting the light the right way like with a microscope, so it is what I prefer. If you don't want to get the microscope it turns into a controversial topic.

thanks for that la9 i hate looking through those 420 scopes, i cant ever fucking see those shits and plus im color blind too so its already hard enough to spot those amber ones. I will have to try out those glasses for shur though

You're welcome, some people will tell you you need 100x to see the color of the Trichs but I don't have any problem with 15x and I don't have to mess with finding light while looking thru a peephole.

I wish i wouldve seen this before i bought that 60/100 microscope, you def dont need something like that just to see the trichromes and it makes it very difficult to see more than a few at a time after smashing it into your buds just to get a clear view

I use a 20x watch glass which I found on the sidewalk downtown.
You could probably pop a good lens out of a projector or something. Try to get in good wit someone who works in a movie theater or school, they could prob lend u one for free.
