and the final product. i was VERY pleased with this harvest. it had no "C" buds or lower at all, the smallest nugs i have are small pinecones. everything is good and solid, no fluff. since i started this grow ive had problems like ive never had growing before but it looks like ive got the kinks worked out. next harvest is expected in about 4 1/2 wks and it will be 2 girls where this was only one.

i wanted too but just plain forgot. friday was busy as hell, i started trimming @ 8am, finished by 930 and drove an hour to chicago where i got fucked around over a nitrous tank for 2 hrs, drove back and worked outside for an hour finishing up a job, picked the kid up from school by 5 and in bed by 830, then i drove to wisconsin where i was throwing a little going to jail thing for a friend. so no wet weight, ill have the dry in a day or two though! i only flushed for a week this time instead of two and even with no cure yet it tastes great!

Hell ya.. When i chopped the first.. i forgot to take a wet weight also.. was more cought up in the moment.... I updated some new pics on the journal if you get a min take a look.. theres a pic that i don't know whats goin on with the plant.

hey thanks for the reply slick, btw AWESOME LOOKING PLANT man. wow, you did good. last night i looked at my trichs and saw a couple of them had turned amber, so i guess i have about another week or two. and you were right those babies are loving the new light. i mean i got new pistils shooting out everywhere, its awesome man. on the 3rd i put out 12 more girls to flower, and i am so freaking amped to see how well those grow seeing that they have some good light from jump street. i'm thinking about trimming my fan leaves(the large ones only i assume) and new growth like you did on your plants. but my question is will taking off the fan leaves be kinda bad for the plant since the fan leaves are used to absorb light, i mean it does not look like i hurt your plants, i'm just curious. and one more time, real nice buds man. i really don't post that much, but when i see some one that really knows what he's doing and doesn't have an i'm better than you attitude, i gotta give it up to them, +rep man your technique is nice,
it's kinda ghetto.....but damn it works.

P.S. that FDD's tutorial on harvesting that you mentioned, where do i find it and how can i get it? Thank's man.

thanks for the kind words. growing is truly something i love and im happy RIU gives me an opportunity to meet and converse with other growers. garden time is the most relaxing, clear-headed time of my day. i do way more than grow plants in there, i figure shit out, calm myself down, just plain relax.

as far as trimming your undergrowth - think like light...use the back of your hand to gauge it, move your hand around your canopy, take notice of the brightness on your skin. now look into the canopy, think about whats getting good light and whats not. i leave about half of my fan leaves for 2 reasons - they are storage areas for valuable nutes, and something like 50% of usable light passes through the leaves above. i remove all little growth at the nodes, i cut off the growing tops of lesser stems leaving the fans leaves. it may seem like butchery, but when you have a canopy full of nice tops and almost zero fluff it all makes sense.

as for the rep thing, mine is still in the same spot, it just looks like a "+" sign instead of scales. if its not there go to "my rollitup" and all the way at the bottom you can pick from the drop menu - "blzn '07". this should get you back to where you started.

sorry guys, i never gave you a dry weight on that harvest...3 big ounces, 1 lovely thick lady, only 1/4 of my canopy space used, and a smile on this guys face.:hump:

i have real good bud formation goin on with the 2 girls in day 21. in a few more days im gonna pollenate a lower branch on each one. this should keep me in NLxNYC Diesel beans for some time, maybe some to share.

my 2 clones are on day 7 or so of veg. i topped them each once on day 1 and got 3 tops 5 days later and topped each of those yesterday. i expect 6 or more tops within a week on each plant, ill let them go for a week or so and then start weight training them so they spread out.

i hope it gets warmer soon. its been negative asshole degrees outside and im out of 2 parts of my 3 part nutes and ph down, i need to get to the store.

sorry for the severe lack of updates, this winters has been hard in so many different ways.

i have had a real good harvest since the last update, 2 girls trained the usual way that produced over 6 oz's.

right now im at 5 1/2 weeks flower in the flower room, the same in the veg area, and i have clones in my new bubble cloner.

ive restored my grow room to its former glory, kind of. im starting a bunch of veggies and herbs inside for my garden this year and i ran out of room so i had to do some rearranging.



heres the 5 1/2 wk ladies. ive upped the N in my flower nutes and havent lost any yellow leaves AT ALL and my buds are huge!



thats right...just 2 ladies, 18" tall and 18" wide each.

ill admit, i can be mean. its a regional thing. im from Chicago and have very little tolerance for bullshit and can smell it a mile away.

I hate cocky chicago fucks anyway so that probably explains why u are such a deusche on here this was made to be a site with serious growers who need help not for cock suckers like u to get on here and tell everyone they dont know what there doing and that they are dumb.... so find a new forum or something

ok pal i hope u are enjoying those 3 oz hahahah bet u cant wait till next harvest those 3 louzy lookin oz wouldnt last me a month .... but anyway im sorry i just dont have time to post my pics on here and not to mention seems more risky that there are actually pictures.. i can claim that what i say on here is false but u cant do nothin about a pic.... and sorry ive looked through your threads none of which seem useful...... and once again those bs mcchicken threads were not me my cusin got on my account
