Lol edit: to you say your hands are pretty oh god thats funny. Check the grow faq for the charts you should be able the narrow it down to something. It doesn't look like nute burn. You would have that on new growth it looks as if she is still a lil bit low on mg. Just keep up with the light adding of lime when you water without nutes.

I got the cab pretty much 80% done yesterday. My plan was to have the plants moved in there by today but I did it last night. Temps are a lil higher right now cause I don't have ventlation at the moment. I get paid tommorrow so I'm going to go buy two pc fans from somewhere in the city. I know someplace has to have them. I want four but two now, and two next time I get paid is probably smarter. I didn't get a chance to get pics last night, so tonight I'll have pics later on tonight.

Keep my hands clean :eyesmoke:! Ill check out the chart and see where it leads me too. Maybe ill give her another spray. Thats awesome ur almost done with it. You can get those pc fans from best buy for like 10-15 bucks! I have 4 just because I build pc's so...they are just lying around ;p. Once I finish I too will be using those. Thanks killa, good luck on the box!

Alright cool I'll be picking these up today accutally and cutting holes in the dresser for them. Are they pretty sturdy feeling ya know? I gotta wait to cut the door till my mother gives me back my freaking jigsaw.

Its always the mom's taking the heavy tools lol. Some of the work done on my house was done by my mom (tile, carpet, plumbing shit etc) and her friend..they do good work for no cost (I just help out). :hump:

What up man? I got everything up and running over the past two days. I put new pics in my journal check em out.
Alrite here is a little update on her. She is still going on strong even after I thought a watering had gone bad (which I still think could be a problem). Im not very use to watering her in that big bucket and gave her about 1000mL which was a little bit more then I use to give her...but no run off. I got a little scared and just stopped watering. Think id rather her stretch and look for water then drown it. Anyways ill stop talking.

Next time you water, run a good amount past her.
You will drown her if you keep watering without run off.
I'm pretty sure this is one of the reasons she looks the way she does.
From my observation, a plant this size, under cfl's, in a pot that size. probably needs watering once a week.
When you do it, do it properly and give her run-off.

Once a week is what I been going for (At least very close to it). Next time ill be sure to give her some run off..:wall:

She is looking pretty good bro. Are you about ready to switch the lights on her?
Thanks man. No not yet I want perfect conditions + want her to grow a bit more while practicing lst. The box is almost complete but I need it to be perfect as far as reflectivity and light tight for dark hours. I still want her to keep doing her thing till then :blsmoke:. And maybe a little longer.

Oh ok well sounds like you have it figured out pretty good. LST is fun I LOVE BUSHES

:leaf:Peace:leaf:
Bushy plants is what i want since im workin with cfls. Hey killa I have a question that seriously needs to be answered:

Sometimes I have to cut the lights off early so I can set my space heater for night temps (so the room wont over heat with the lights). Now I done this a few times but not everyday...SOMETIMES it happens and its a must..I should of thought bout timing + going to work and having to cut things off a little earlier (still gets 16-18 hrs).

Okay whats going on is one of the lower stems has a leaf and it NOW is limped over like its dead..could cutting the lights off early and confusing trigger the plant to just fall. Not the hole plant im talking about the lower stem with leaves.

Edit: Basically the plant is getting more sleep than it should. Hour at the most. I think if you go back a page or two you can see a picture of the little leaves limping over. This is just one stem im talking about. Blah....makes me worried bro.

Learn not to give too much of a fuck about individual branches mate, unless your counting them.
Sure, it's not an ideal situation, but don't loose sleep over it.
You must have knocked it, or whatever. It's stressed it in some way. It's not fucking happy, simple.
Chop it off clean if you have to, so that it no longer bothers you.
Stop looking at it...

Flower this fucker, and apply what your learned to the next grow.
Fuck me, this grow is getting like 'Days of your Life'.
You treat this plant like it's the last one on earth.
That's not how you make porridge! Fuck me.

Ill try not to loose sleep over this =P. These little things to me matter, I havent really seen anything like this before. Go limp then come back to life. But like you said its probably just stressed...I jsut dont want to keep stressing it.

As far as flowering, im still waiting. I feel like I havent learned everything just yet. I mean I cant hardly get the watering down in the new bucket...I still have to much to learn and I have much patience. I know I should flower this baby but I feel like it has more potential during veg with all the other advice you guys have give me. Your absolutely right I do treat it like its the last thing on earth lol..Like I said I do not want to flower it until I have perfect conditions for it.

My next grow will be even better.

The going to bed early shouldn't matter and you shouldn't sweat it. If your messing with the time the lights turn on in the morning then yes you can stress it. Why do you have to turn the lights off before messing with the heater? Since your plants are in veg light leaks won't really matter to much if I'm not mistaken. Also the higher temps in veg won't hurt them unless you get over 100 for a good period of time. An hour won't hurt them at all. My first grow my temps were all over the place I mean literally some days they would be 80 some they would 95. When your flowering is when you REALLY REALLY REALLY need to keep temps down and stable.

Also I know you want perfect conditions but I'm telling you bro you aren't going to be able to keep enough lights on her while being able to control the heat. This is the major downside to CFL's. We can still grow but try and keep them short and stocky. She looks like a strain that is going to blow up in flowering. You saw how much mine have strecthed since turning 12/12 and they keep going through the first month. Maybe go ahead and start another seed or get another clone and get her going while you flower this one.

I was hoping to just keep it short and bushy for a while. I hear what ur saying and after my next nute feed, ill take her to 12/12 (I really want a clone out of her too). I was wondering if I can just keep my 42 watts? They dont say 5500k or 2700k..Do you think they will be okay for flowering? I have 6 42 watts and 10 26watt cfl 5500k, wondering if I could just use those? Spent way to much on lights..

Edit: The reason for turning the lights off early is because at night, temps here are different every single day (horrible weather in the mid-west). I get worried about it freezing in my place since we dont use a central heat/air. Temps get crazy cold in here so before I leave to work (which is at 5, and lights turn off at 6) I just turn everything off and turn the little space heater on in my room. I have read many times that people have mistakenly had temps high or low just like you said. Im just WAY more worried bout it then I should be since its my first. Thanks killa

Some say use a mix of the different spectrums and some say just use on spectrum for each stage. Its really up to what you feel is going to be best for your plants. You could take some clones and then flower one clone under mixed spectrum lights and then one under the all 2700k spectrum. See which one yeilds more. Gotta use clones to have a true test if you use seeds then the plants could be different phenotypes and that might be why the yeild is so different.

I use all one spectrum for each stage. 5500k for veg and 2700k for flower. But thats just me. I read ALOT of High Times magizines and lately they have been talking alot about mixing spectrums when you flower. Only they are using HPS/MH while flowering. I have also heard that the LED panels add a HUGE difference as side lighting for your HPS or MH. I am VERY VERY leary on purchasing LED's because of the price. I could get a 150 hps and not have to worry about heat like 400. But I could probably get 2 of the hps' vs the LED's. Its all in what you want to do is what I'm trying to say. Do what fits your likes, need, etc......

Yea I was reading the same thing..you could either use 2700 or mix them. I just wanted some opinions so I dont end up wasting more money on bulbs. Ive got tons!

Stop clipping her, i made this mistake thinking it would help. It doesnt leave the leaves on until they fall of on their own. She needs it to grow!!
