Hi, if you look in the pics on the 1st page of this journal you can see its got a humidity dome with vents i leave open, its the x-stream 36 site aeroponic propagator probably on sale everywhere......how long did yours take to root??I used a cloner that was similar to yours, I actually also think it was aero, but I left it on always and my water was mixed with b'cuzz root stimulator. Although this was fairly slow in my opinion so maybe the time off would help them. Also idk if yours has a humidity dome and idk that you need one with aero cloning. I know i use it with the plugs and like the results I was thinking maybe i could rig one up for my clone machine.
Hey Bossman thanks for stopping by......but i dont ue any panda paper, everything is in budbox's the only light curtain i use is actually 1 of the groundsheets from my titan budbox, so it has velcro on the corners which i attched to the poles of my xxl budbox basically halvin it. It is not 100% effective but it means my 600w MH doesnt directly hit the clones......nice looking grow. how did you get your panda paper so perfect how did you attach it
Yeah i have a XXL Budbox which is 2m (L) x 1m (W) x 2m (H)........it has 2 pre cut vents for intake/extraction and some other mall holes for passing wires out/in.......and i also have a 'Titan' Budbox which is 2m x 2m x 2m.......it has 6 pre-cut holes for intake/extraction which is perfect......pretty expensive but not when you think they could last forever if looked after......Looks like one of the growtents in a box deals. Looks like pre cut vents and everything. I love those grow tents. *Drools*
Hi BlueCheese thanks for stopping by, basically im not worried about the electric bill, whenever the bill comes i pay in full on time and to the electricity company im just a good customer, plus im a firm believer that the only way you get caught is by 'snitches' who then give police a reason to look into ur affairs, so if you keep everything on the quiet u should be fine, and about how much it costs, well when my flowering room i fully up and running ill be drawing 3000 watts, or 3kw, so look at how much your electric company charges ie 0.50 per kilowatt per hour, so 3 x 0.50 x 12 hours = 13.50/day roughly.......u understand....???i wanna do this too but how much is the elecrical bill can i get away with this in a suburban house
Hey Loudblunts ive read some of your posts/threads before i recognise the quote in your sig....still makes me giggle everytime i see it....i read your post about the aerocloner......is it really worth buying the 1 min on 4 min off timer do you think it helps a lot....what do you think of my 15min on and 30min off regime at the mo? My plants look healthy jus no roots yet, although they look like they wanna shoot out....and about the rhizotonic..i was gonna use this but i read that until they show at least some signs of roots the nutes actually slow them down...would u disagree with this?? Im gonna try it on my next lot of clones see how things go...but do you think mine look healthy or like they are gonna root?? Also 1 last thing is when i took the clones i made a slit up the stem...does this help or do you do it? Let me know bro....i wrote a little something on my diy aero cloner i built. i get roots in 3-5 days
if you think it'll help

Hi Bro, i changed my cycle to 15 min on and 30 mins off about 2 days ago and im starting to see some results.....i dunno if this change actually helped but its working so im gonna keep it going like that for the moment......ive added some pics below that show some root growth, this is on all my lemon skunk clones but my great white shark clones arent howing yet, although i expect them to soon enough..i would never buy a preset cycle timer.
i run 20 - 30 secs pump on and 3-4 minutes pump off
i have a friend that runs aero 15 pump on 45 pump off or some shit and they are okay with it. they dont have enough money to buy a cycle timer.
you could also 'hydro' clone as opposed to 'aero' cloning....
hydro cloning would have the pump running 24/7
far as rhizotonic...man iono...as im still experiment and testing with it.
when im not aero cloning and using just rapidrooters...i soak my plugs in a light nute mix of rhizotonic, calmag, cannazym and something else and i get roots in 5-7 days
but as for aero....not sure just testing out to see if its coincidence or it really working.
i do know if its working that clonex cloning solution may work a TAD bit faster than rhizotonic...but im still testing
for slit all that shit...no i dont do all that extra crap, i just cut the clone at an angle and if i do anything else...its maybe a scrap/scar here or there on the stem
Hi Ganja thanks for stopping by, this i the first time ive ever tried cloning, let alone aeroponic cloning, but i can defiantely say its the best thing since sliced bread, literally cut the clones, bit of cloning gel, into the aerocloner, 6 days wait and u get some roots, now if that isnt magic i dunno what is, ive looked at cloning in rockwool the way Al. B Fuct does it but he has to tend to them 2 times a day to water, and he has to be careful not to over/under water.......all of this seems like a long process.....and i quote him by saying....im a stoned slacker.....so aeroponic cloning is for me....nice and easy......thanks for the comments bro....the clones seem to be taking off well
iv never really liked the idea of airoponics but i havent seen the whole prosses or results so ill hang around to see what hapens, good luck
maybe next time around when i take some cutting ill try and do airo-clonin and transplant those to DWC buckets cuz the buckets are working great for me. i tried cloning in RW cubes but it didnt work, my root temps where to cold, temp under the dome was way 2 hot and humidity was way to low...Hi Ganja thanks for stopping by, this i the first time ive ever tried cloning, let alone aeroponic cloning, but i can defiantely say its the best thing since sliced bread, literally cut the clones, bit of cloning gel, into the aerocloner, 6 days wait and u get some roots, now if that isnt magic i dunno what is, ive looked at cloning in rockwool the way Al. Hi Ganja.......so you been rooting in rockwool? Do you have a heat mat?? Ive heard this is very important for rooting in rockwool....even more important than the humidity dome....have u read Al.B Fucts 'a batch of clones in rockwool' thread?? If not then read it he has the process perfected, and it works for him very well, also he uses no humidity dome......and as for the gel washing off, it does but it also helps a bit just when youve cut the clone as it helps the broken cells.....but im no expert. I used it anyways and my clones are doig good so ill continue to use it even if it washes off lol.......anyways keep posted and ill help ya where i can, but im still learning a lot.........maybe next time around when i take some cutting ill try and do airo-clonin and transplant those to DWC buckets cuz the buckets are working great for me. i tried cloning in RW cubes but it didnt work, my root temps where to cold, temp under the dome was way 2 hot and humidity was way to low...
also wated to ask, whats the point in putting rooting solution onto the cutting for airo?? doesnt it just wash off in a few mins??
my first cloning atempt was a half assed try just before i started flowering my current babies. i didnt spray my mother down with water for a week or 2 before i took cuttings, i didnt sterilize everything properly, didnt presoak the RW, no heat mat, you name it...i didnt do it, lol ( 0% succes )Hi Ganja.......so you been rooting in rockwool? Oh ok now i see why you had no success.....here is the link for the Al. B Fuct's clone thread, it is very useful....my first cloning atempt was a half assed try just before i started flowering my current babies. i didnt spray my mother down with water for a week or 2 before i took cuttings, i didnt sterilize everything properly, didnt presoak the RW, no heat mat, you name it...i didnt do it, lol ( 0% succes )
ill take a look around for Al.B Fucts cloning thread and check it out, thanks
thanks for the link, lots of goods points on thereOh ok now i see why you had no success.....here is the link for the Al. B Fuct's clone thread, it is very useful....

Have a look and see what you can improve on......
Hey Revolution.......basically i didnt prune i chopped down 4 mother plants they were slow growers and didnt have the genetics i wanted in a plant...ie fast root growth, fast general growth etc.....so i made space for my lemon haze mothers, which have stretched and i need to get them up to speed as this is the main starin i want to grow.......as for the clones they are all rooted except 1 which died so i have 26/27 which is not bad for a first time cloning......First advice about pruning. Don't be afraid to cut some shit off. Really, don't go light on the pruning to try not to stun it or something, most plants can take A LOT of pruning and not be stunned at all. Also congratulations on the clones, I knew they would root real quick. They all look about perfect!
Hey Loudblunts.........when this is up and running nothing will be expensive muahahahahahahahahha @ 1L
try buying the 5L, then you can talk expensive
i totally agreeHey Loudblunts.........when this is up and running nothing will be expensive muahahahahahahahah
