I got a gandalf pipe that's longer than my forearm. probly around 22". I love it, but it ashes like nothing else because of the design. The moment ash pulls into the chamber it gets swept up with the smoke and flies into your mouth. Screens are a necessity with that kind of pipe.

I sent fdd some really bad sketches for how a gandalf that doesn't ash horribly could be blown. Maybe if I remake the drawings in solidworks he'll take me seriously.

whaoh dude, chill out. i said it was a nice piece. i was speaking in general. EVERY head shop in my town has a whole shelf of those. all the same just different colors.

see you say "childs play". so i'm supposed to be impressed? is that the whole point? i really don't get it.

once again, wtf difference does it make, as a pipe, if it's 1 piece or 20? are you buying a pipe or some pipe makers ego? if it looks cool and it works then that's perfect. but to have to be explained to how it was made and then to have to be impressed by that is kinda silly. IMO

this dude i know blows glass. he made a triple perk bubbler and traded me an ounce of top shelf meds for it. he's going on and on about how none of the white touches any of the purple. how all the lines are even and it came out perfect. how his donut is the shit. he loads it up and hands it to me. i hit it and pull my finger off the carb. IT DOESN'T CLEAR!!!!!! :cuss:he put the hole to close to the bowl. the whole first chamber stays full of smoke. he was so damn focused on how "perfect" his "art" was that he fucked up the basic pipe function.

its a very simple 1 piece design... they should be pretty cheap at least

What are these "pieces" you guys are talking about? I'm confused 1 pipe always equaled one pipe in my mind.

they make them in little sections, one at a time, so they can put that wig wag, spiral pattern all over it. for some reason it's supposed to be "impressive". i don't get it. :eyesmoke:

once you learn the "trick" it;'s just a matter of practice, practice, practice. i can appreciate that. but it's nothing spectacular or new. they charge you $1000 to show you the trick. i wonder why.
