Harvest all at once?

So I'm getting ready to harvest my first grow and I have a questions that I haven't come by on here.

Do I harvest the whole plant all at once or do I just harvest the buds that are big enough and wait for the little ones to get bigger?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can do both of course. If the trichs are uniform all throughout then you might want to harvest the whole plant (unless you want a variety of ripeness). My plants seem to have certain buds that are developing faster than other - I plan on pinching each off as they hit the maturity I want.

depending on time allowed for flowering and method of grow i.e. sog, scrogg, fim, topped.... More than likely you will have no choice in the lil guys. Happens to everyone. Thats why you scrogg or fim with tie downs. Double your harvest and multiple huge colas!!!
