Hi Guys,

I am new to growing and I am unsure of the problem with a plant that I am growing.

Recently I noticed that the leaves had started to curl downwards, along with slight discolouration on the tips of two leaves.

Also the leaves appear to be changing colour to an almost white colour

at first I believed that I had under watered the plant, I then gave it a good water. After reading up on it some more I am thinking that I was over watering the plant or perhaps it was a nutrient deficiency!?

If anyone could have a look at the attached images and offer your opinion / advice I would appreciate it.

I had a plant half that size get root bound in a pot that small.

I dont think its a root issue, could be wrong.

Plants grown from seed, there Fem White dwarfs from Attitude seeds.

4 weeks into grow.

The soil is a high quality blend mixed with 4 / 1 perlite. Bone meal and dried Blood.

The leaves do feel almost crunchy in texture. and are / turning a very bright white colour.

To me, it looks like it's either too much humidity/heat or perhaps you added to much blood/bone meal into your medium. Generally speaking, I don't add anything but perlite to my soil and they don't seem to mind. I wait 'till my first transplant (3-5 weeks from seed) to give 'em some soil additives and regular feedings. I'd advise you to pick up a digital thermometer/hygrometer from radioshack or walmart ($10-20) just so you can see what kinda temps/humidity you're working with. Looks like your vegging with an HPS, so heat could definitely be what's holding your plants back.
