Some help Please

rite...il try n fill u in with what im up to so far, im a newbi to growing n i no im a real amarture not got the proper equiptment or anything

iv bin growin for about 3 weeks now usein nothing but water a strip light (which i think is sorta the right type it was for my bearded dragon its a florecent tube called exo-terra 10.0 wich is only about 30 watts i think ...as i said im new to this... for the heat im just using an ordanarie house light (50 watts ) i started my plants of with 12 hr on n 12 hr off for the heat lamp i coud change it to a 100 watt heat glo if that is more suitable but with the lamp iv got now there has been a few burnt leaves so i duno if that is wize ? also my lizard used to use calcium powder would ther be any use for that... btw there is no other fertaliser added.

im new to growing myself - but all i know is that ur lights should be on for 18/6 - 12/12 is when u flower them. move your plants away from the light coz ur burning them, you really need a better light like a 250watt hps at least, or add afew cfl's hope this helpz

Ya dude 12/12 is after you veg them to a good size then go 12/12.

ok yea helps a little thanks also if my plants are gettin burnt would that not imply that my lights are strong enuf or would gettin the 250 watts one still be better and if im growing without any fertaliser will that effect my plant size or thc in n e way ???

Note . im not planning on growin to the plants full life span i was jus wondering will i be able to prune my plants at an early stage and still get a good smoke from them....plus when will i start to be able to smell it...if your wondering my seeds are top 44

Is the soil your using already full of nutes? Sometimes the soil from H.depot and such will be choked with nutes so try not to over feed because that causes burns also the humidity can affect the plants situation. If its to dry maybe spray it down with a light mist now and then, maybe keep a cup of water close to it for the moisture in the air. you wann go 16/8 or 18/6 for your veg time. 12/12 when you got a good height so it will flower. If you cut them early your stash will suck tho!
