Proper germination/acclimation techniques, I'm sending my girls outside this year at ten at a time, here's round 1, placed in soil on 3/21 and sprouted 3/24, Guerrillas Gusto is the first round, check out my cycle, have one compartment above the aquarium with 55W T5 Compact Floros "Triton" for growing corals and live aquarium plants, the best spectrums available, people should never underestimate the aquarium trade, these are 4 days old, I acclimate these babies by placing them on my balcony every night from 1:00am and then bring them in the morning for more 18/6, temps at night are 45°/52°, only use aquarium water, I know the containers are small for this first batch so no comments as these are for my guerrilla grow, next wave is my Early Skunks, this is the first wave... First is above the aquarium as you see, then underneath is station 2, for backup a 400w MH that I haven't used yet this season, for now I like to place them in my window when we get direct sunlight, even better and it's free, kind of a pain in the ass moving the plants around every ten minutes though! Damn sun changes angles so quickly, anyhoo, happy growing and be sure to acclimate! Put your seedlings out at night for 5 hours, you can't just pluck them from indoor and move 'em out, you need a buffer.

As promised got the 400w MH in action, overdoing it on these seedlings as they are fine under the T5 Compacts but I need to verify temps and it's good to give them extra light here and there as today it's raining, alternating between the Flouros, natural sunlight when available and the MH to beef them up I think I'm giving my girls the best head start they could get, anyone else use T5 Compact Flourescents? Anyone familiar with the Vita Lite or Triton bulbs? People with reptiles or aquariums should know, anyone else use aquarium water for their babies?

Nice setup man! U are greek I reckon? Efxaristw gia tis simvoules sou! Will you be transplanting outside? if yes how long will you let them grow indoors?

No, not Greek but also in Europe 45N°, those are my first batch, planting 10 more seeds tomorrow and then the last ten around mid April, that way I can keep them cycling, the first ones will go out around April 20 or so, maybe sooner, I'm watching the weather... I hope yours can make it, can you give them any direct sunlight?

not yet. I do not live alone and cant risk to have them on a window or smt. Everyone beats me up at how what i did was not good but my goal was to start vegging them abit indoors just to increase their chances of survival when they go outdoors... Im also gonna move them outdoors around the same time as you, mid april. Ill be watching your grow, hopefully we can help eachother out having similar weather and we are both going outdoor!

Hope has much planning has gone into finding a seccure location,or all your hard work will be for nothing.good to see the pre that you are putting in bro hope you pull it off.just getting ready for my grow outdoors i been doing it for a few years now.last year i had a bummper crop but not enougth sun and too much rain hope this summer is going to be differant.spring seems to be looking good 4/5 days of good sun allready.last years harvest was 5 and harf pound but mother nature realy made me work for it haveing to visit the plants after every rainfall toshake off the moisture left by the rain but only had 1 plant that had slite mould but cut out.the strain was arjons ultra haze #1 this year i'm going for white rhino and ams[anti mould strain by greenhouse]sativas all the way for outdoor grows they just look more tree like if planted in may by the time the crops ready the smallest was 8 ft monster good luck bro.

Damn right about the local, got one ready for these nine but I think I changed my mind and I'm going to wait and put the Early Skunks in that spot, will germinate those on 4/1, in two days, kinda worried about my spots this year, living in an urban area sucks sometimes, anyway my creativity astounds me so I should be good, yeah, last year was a crappy season for me too, my varieties are early flowerers this year so I've got my fingers crossed, I can only visit my spots at night this year and one of them is pretty freakin spooky, all for the nugs...

Lets hope for the best possible crops this year! The thing that bothers me most is not rain but drought. On average how much water do you provide for each of your plants outdoor while flowering? Did you concentrate on finding self irrigated terrain like near a river or lake or somewhere that has easy water access? Anyway my question is how do you water your outdoor plants? Stoopy are your plants having problem with summer heat?

Yo Orange, that's a great way to start outdoors bro, those seedlings are already acclimated and tough as nails, more people should be doing like you and not using those crappy CFL's, many people don't realize that as soon as you put weak plants outside they are susceptible to bugs, I have no problems with water and as you can see by my avatar I live near a lake :) We have abundant rain all year round and I just fertilize here and there, no watering really, just in the beginning for my seedlings to make sure they settle in OK, Cali can be dry like that, these Guerillas Gustos that I germed are supposed to be some big ass beasts, 9 footers so heat could wilt them a bit if they're really big but the water table is saturated so no lugging jugs around all summer! H20 is freakin heavy!

Orange Shovel has got a great outdoor germination set-up, simple and effective. I'm still indoors with mine though...

Round 2 - Early Skunk Feminised

I attached a bunch a pictures to let people know what they get if they buy from Sensi, I'm not a seed pusher but I must say that I'm very satisfied with them so far, I had been to their store in Amsterdam years ago and had bought some Shiva Shanti which is a classic, I've done Sharksbreath by DNA Genetics but no other breeders, Sensi sends you a pamphlet in 9 languages, a catalogue, some stickers and of course the beans, every strain is well documented and indications are in depth for each.

The Guerrillas Gusto are 8 days old.

Just started the Early Skunks.

Notice the plastic syringe I use to water, with aquarium water, should be popping up by Saturday morning, next round, more Early Skunks, only ten at a time guys... Will make a grow journal from this so stay tuned... Haven't gone guerrilla yet, for the moment I'm still very domestic ;)...,

The Guerrillas Gusto are 12 days old and thriving, will transplant outdoors by Friday, weather is kosher, started my new batch of Early Skunk feminized and let me tell you they are doing some weird things, I've germinated hundreds of seeds with care and with a 99% success rate, these fem beans are strange, the first one started to shoot the primary root vertically out of the medium towards the light, it looked like a blade of grass, really odd, then I turned her over and you can see the image below, the pod seems very leathery and tough, doesn't seem as if though the first leaf lobes will split, I checked on 3 of the others and they seem to be confused, spiraling in strange directions instead of forming the classic hook to then sprout vertically, weird, Will be documenting this.

Looking good. I'm germinating my seeds right now and gonna let them grow indroors for a couple weeks and plant at the end of April. I'll be watching yours. Good luck!

Guerillas gusto look great! If you feel the shell is giving those skunk seedlimgs a hard time you can gently help them get rid of it.... Sometimes when they cant do it it saves them!

Guerrilla night last night, transplanted nine Guerrillas Gustos in the manner you see in the pics, just rolled 'em in paper with some tape and staples, worked perfectly, the white bag was kind of a beacon but I didn't have any problems, wanted to take some pics of the plot yesterday but being all grungy and preoccupied with the dig I wasn't even thinking about it, going back in 2/3 weeks, post pics of the next batch soon, Early Skunk Fems, not happy with them so far, taking forever to germinate, not like normal beans, stay tuned...

Very nice. Put up some pictures of your spot when you can. Did you just plant in the natural soil, or did you mix in some of you own?

Transplanted the other day and as promised made a quick trip today because it hasn't rained, perfect spring weather though, can't complain, everyone is looking good except for 1 that got gnawed on a bit but no prob, I have a crazy spot in a briar patch, this is the first time I've used a briar patch and the soil is super rich, plus the thorny bushes are easy to cut back and mold how you want them, pleased so far, very happy that the first round is already 3 weeks old and outside by mid April, sweet, my second batch of Early Skunk Fems are totally BUNK, never seen anything similar, retarded germination, fungus, spiraling of the main shoot, not happy with the fems so far, will germ the normal Early Skunks in 10 days, round 3, for now round 2 is pissing me off! But round 1 is already established, a great relief :)...,
