Any ideas on DIY envirolite hanger

ive seen DIY threads for the smaller CFLs but never the big envirolite bulbs.

does anyone know where i can get or how i can make something to hold one of these bulbs on its side. at the moment it is hanging straight down, id like to have it horizontal. i need something that can hold the E40 sockets on the side, basicly like the reflectors do when u buy them.

or even more ghetto, will i be able to rest the end of the bulb on something? wood? metal? plastic?

Thanks

i really need to know a decent way of hanging them, at the moment i have them hanging from the plastic around the beginning of the bulb and from the mains lead to balance them

hopefully someone has a better ghetto/homemade way as i dont really want to have to buy propa reflectors with hangers,,

well i bought some garden twine from tescos last night and used it to hang my CFL. works fine. holds it up fine, hasnt fallen down after a double knot at the top and a single knot around the connection between the tubes.

cheers DWR, +rep ! cost me £1! better than 30+

to the guy that was lookin to hang his light as well. i have 2 hooks at the top. so the CFL hanger cables goes over 1 of them and then i tied the twine around the other hook. so im using twine on one side of the light as thats all t hats needed

edit: DWR, i need to spread love some more, lol.
