Sure, why not, fish waste is a great source of nutrients for plants, you could have the fish water pumped to feed your plants and in return the water is cleaned for the fish, so you dont even need to change it just top it off, of course nitrogen is really the only nutrient that you are getting, so would only try during vegging.

I read somewhere about a hydro grow that utilised a fish tank into the water cycle, it supposedly gave alot of nutrients into the water, but I really dont have the memory I used to so maybe you shouldnt listen to me. I do think its a good idea in principle, but neat water from a small tank may be too concentrated.

That would be on a grander scale I would think. And cleaner conditions.
I'm on my 3rd grow watering out of my 100gal Cichlid tank - WW is in love with the stuff & no worries about chlorine or fluoride either & the fish benifit from the frequent partial water changes.

Did you start out growing WW with out fish water, then switch?
No, I have used it exclusively from start t finish for a couple reasons.
1. It just stands to reason (possibly only to me) that there just has to be beneficial water conditioning going on if the fish thrive in it.
2. Our tap water is pretty brutal here - lots of chlorine, 8.6+ ph, & damn cold. When I ph the water prior to administration its around 8 which says something for the biological effects the fish/undergravel filtration provide. And its room temp with out the chlorine.
3. There was a third point here somewhere but I think my silver surfer stole it.
Not saying I'm a pro at this by any means - but comparison shopping with a couple friends that are also farmers & their consensus is that I don't grow enough for myself AND them.

I used fish water with my last grow and would be using it again if I could. Not only is it chemical free, it's PH balanced, and nutrient infused due to the fish droppings. All around a great thing for plants.

i have also been feeding this tropical tree i have in my living room fish water and it seems to love it. i waterd my plants a couple of times with fish water but was hesitant. but i also have a goldfish tank, and goldfish are prone to alot of disease, they are dirty fish. plus i have way too many fish in my tank and also some have died which must be a sign. so i only use it on my household plants. but i think the one guy is right, if the fish are surviving and thriving and coniving lol..sorry had to add a third rhyme, then your plants will be just fine. and all those nutrients will be great for them.

No there are many small scale setups, and you shouldn't have fish living in unclean conditions in the first place.
IMHO its probably a good choice in an organic soil application. Again just me.

why not put fish into like a hydro setup
