rockwool or seedling soil?

hey any advice on getting rockwool cubes or seedling soil for my early veg?

i have a 400w mh bulb

any advice on which to use?


and if rockwool is better how do i use it lol?

Rapid rooters......they are nice, easy, roots well through them and very easy to manage and plant into your medium. Just my .02

If you live in the area i do it is next to impossible to find rockwool cubes... although they are simple to work with! once your seed is germinated and the tap root has popped out of the seed, moisten the rockwool cube and make a hole in it about as wide as a pencil and only a 1/4" deep. put the seed in the rockwool cube tap root down(so it can begin rooting). after that simply close the top of the hole up on the rockwool cube and place under light until it roots! after it show roots take the sprout while still in the cube and plant it right into a fairly good size pot and let her grow! i use the other method.. seedling soil(something with either no nutes or a very tiny trace of nutes so the plant doesnt get burned)! and your MH will be very ideal for the vegative stage of your grow. Although since the metal halide puts out a light closer to the blue spectrum you may need to use a HPS(High Pressure Sodium) setup for the flowering of your girls. Hope that was some help!
