I would buy the tent that you were looking at if your not much of a handyman like myself. I am actually going to buy that same tent in early may or sooner if I get the money. It's a great price and I mean honestly, if ebay tents were as shitty as some people describe them, then they couldn't keep selling. The particular user who is selling it has a 99% positive rating and has been in business for around a year. Grow tents are almost the only thing he/she sells, so a lot of the positive ratings have to be referring to his/her tents. Hope this helps in your decision.[/quote]

thanx 4 the advice...I am thinking that tent will be the most economical way to go and im trying to keep expenses low since this will be my 1st grow!!!!
do you think the 4x4x6 will be way to little for a 600w hps?!?!

Temperatures and the humidity on the inside of your tent depend on the temperatures and humidity ouside of your tent. My 400w Metal Halide raised the temperature in my 4'x4'7' closet to 95F when it was 70F ouside the closest. How well your area is ventilated will have a big effect too. It takes a big of experimenting. A 600w would definately grow plants bigger and faster, but be cautious if your not prepared to spend extra money on cooling and ventilation. At least if you are dealing with a non-digital ballast and light. I have no first hand experience with the digital ones.

Digital ballast located outside the tent.
Ballast is barely warm to the touch.

one bump for the growlab. Quality tent, I ran a 600w in an aircooled reflector and a 4" can fan for exhaust and it stayed at around 72-77

I picked up a GrowLab 60 for my personal medical use. I have seen grow tents before and believe the quality is pretty good for the price. I have read the GrowLab is a new version of the HomeBox and that they made the bars to be more sturdy holding up to 100lbs from the top. I only have one light CFL light on mine so I can't really argue. But from what I have seen this is everything I need in one piece of equipment. It also has a clean visual quality from the outside.
