black spots on stems

so my ladies are about 2 weeks away from being done and i just started to notice black stuff on the stems could this be mold? its only on the stems not the leaves though. Although the leaves are not looking to healthy either (browning dead spots) but the flowers look great very resinous ...what should i do to get rid of the spots?

how far up the stem? that is a bad sign. you really should check your nugs very carefully for bud rot, gray mold. shit spreads fast. some h202 in a spary bottle should work but really the best advice it to drop your humidity to about 25% as soon as possible to stop it from spreading b/c Im sure if it is mold, there is more you dont see.

Mold/bud rot is a sneaky enemy. Take Smokey's advice and give a detailed inspection, yesterday.

half way up the plant and onto the fan leaf stems. i dont see any on the bud stems. how much peroxide should i use and spraying the buds wont hurt? because i will be harvesting soon...could it be anything besides mold? and most of the mold i see on bud is white not black... and is the shit still going to be safe to smoke?

pics would help alot. drop your humidity asap and you may want to think about harvesting now cause that far up the shit is gonna spread if in fact mold. bud mold is gray/black. what do ur trichs looks like? cut your circulation until you figure this out. raise ur lights so they dont burn as well. get some pics up. you may only have a small window to work with

if the trichomes are cloudy/milky then chop it.
thats how i harvest.

lights have already been lifted and the fans still on but im not there to tend to it right now..wont be able untill 6 or 7 o clock then im going to douse it in peroxide. i never post pics just cuz im sketched out but mabe i will post some tonight or tomorrow just because im deprerate to solve this problem I just started to notice it on 2 on my 7 females a day ago i havent had a tool to look at the trichs yet but about 1/4-1/2 of the hairs are red.

dont think you should dose the whole plant in peroxide. let me look up a household remedy. sounds like ur trichs probablymostly clear with some cloudy. will post back in a few. and I wouldnt be sketched by the pics. there are 2 million posts on RIU, no one cares about a small homegrow these days, shit is getting damn near legal soon, if not than completely decriminalized.

home depot and walmart sell Serenad in a red bottle in gardening-pick that up. if is mold, sounds like gray mold or Botrytis. also it usually starts in the bud and works it way down the stem, so do inspect your buds and any leafs on buds that are abnormally yellow/dying. and do keep the circulation up-gray mold spores are everywhere and will 'lay root' in the right environment.
if it is gray mold, I would consider chopping these 2 if you have others in the room. ur gonna have to move em out and completely strelize the shit out of it. gray mold can take over a garden in as little as 10 days.

sorry fot he bads news, but save what you can. most imp is to drop the humidity which you can easily do by raising the temps.

is that bad to spray on the plants so close to harvest...? I did give them a very diluted mix of peroxide one night...the spots seems to be decreasing at the bottom...no signs of spreading but not 100% cleared up yet. Temp is 85 and humidity is 35% thats as low as I can get it right now without damprid.. do you really need a microscope to properly harvest or can you go off the hairs? do more hairs turn red as there hanging?

Old thread I know. What was this?

My plants have the same. Except its been spreading up the plant. I first noticed it when there was like 4 days of 80% humidity. Now humidity has been 50% for the past 5 weeks and its still spreading. Plants looks very healthy.
