ok, what am i doing wrong, i have extremely potent weed, is vape a better buzz? or am i just too much of a burnout to get high off one?im using a vaporite vr-001 right now and i never let it go over 365..

I use the Hotbox.... No temp controls on it, just on or off, the longer it sits the hotter it gets ... I get stoned out of my gourd off of it.
With the hotbox I did find that the harder you pull the more vapor you get out of your herb, you pull lightly and you don't get nearly as much from it.
The girl at the headshop talked me out of the cheaper vaporite (like $20 cheaper) because she's had customer complaints about it. I would have called BS except she didn't try and sell me the $300 - $700 ones and actually complained about them.
I would go to Vapenow.com and watch their instructional videos on how to use the Vapes, they have vidoes on most of them...
If I remember correctly the Vaporite is a lot like the Vaporcannon so maybe you could watch that vid.

With the hotbox I let the box heat up for no less than 20 minutes (I usually try for 30 just to make sure.) The first pull on fresh weed will usually have little to no vapor in it, the second pull releases a massive cloud of vapor when I exhale. Once I start getting that I take 3 - 5 hits and am good and baked.
I usually vape through 1 'grind' (sorry I don't weigh it (about 3/4 to 1 bowls) worth of weed every 3 - 5 highs. When I was using the bong or the pipe I could only get maybe 2 highs before it was cached. With the vape I save what is no longer vaping and either mix it with Vodka or I smoke it (VERY HARSH AND NASTY TASTING) and get one last extraction out of it, but it takes a lot of vaped weed to do that.
Since I don't know what you're doing I can't tell you what you're doing wrong... It took some practice for me to get it right but once I did I don't even look at the bong or pipe anymore as a primary means of getting high.
I would suggest letting the vape heat up for half an hour (325 - 350 since you have temp control), load your whip, let it sit on the heating element for about 1 minute and then take a STRONG pull, if it's fresh wait about 1 minute and take another strong pull. Make sure to stir the weed in the whip between hits, that's VERY important.

i guess what i am doing wrong is going bu the temp gauge on the vaporizer, it gets to 350 in like 5 minutes then i started sucking like a porn star and all i ended up with was a headache lol, i guess i need to heat it up a while, i set the temp for 365 and i hit it when the green light comes on

if your temp is somewhere near 365 it should be hot enough. the heating element on my vaporizer sits at an acute angle. i find it works a lot better when it is sitting vertically... and also, the temperature on your display may not be the same as in the filling chamber (where it matters). at least not until you start inhaling. so it may take a few hits before u see any vaporization occur.
to answer your question, i do get a wayy better buzz going vape. there are many many benefits to going vape as well
I have a vaporite and it recently broke for no reaspn. just stopped working a few days ago. i was only using it for spice though since im in the military.
Your not suppost to hit it when the green light comes on if its like the one i had. you set the temp then when the light goes out you connect the whip and inhale. inhale moderately hard because the slower you go the more likely ull burn shit. then after htting it the light would start to flash then go steady once heat had dropped after my hit. hope that helps and i hope i can fix my vape

interesting article there, i had read about the range of cannabinoids vaporizing at different temperators
the more head high and light THC/CBN's vaporizes as low as 315 up to about 365 and then 365+ is where you start getting the CBD's which are more for knocking your out for sleeping so you set it lower and then collect the stuff left with CBD's in it and bake stuff
