Will this homemae cloner work???

need to take a few clones real quik so i optioned to make my self a quik top feed dro unit outa what i already had(recycle save the planet). here it is comments welcome...think ill see roots in 7-10.???? ph water no nutes..dip n grow compound and perlite for medium with to t5s for light. pump on a timer i dont know haow to set(assist if you know) what you think??

well so far so good i guess. day two and my babies standing up strong. water on 1min off 5min...no guesses yet?? lemme me be the first by the looks of things....ummm..ima say 3weeks min..long time but they rootin i aint mad. after i roll one up ima take some day two pics...

aight im back here they are. i added two clones. so now i have 2 in two pots and 1 in one pot for a total of five clones.(i needed clones BAD) after useing the aerogarden to start clones last year i fucked up using the dome and cube shit..20 clones died!!!only had perlite for medium for this shadetree clone op but i figure why not i can flush it out en removing the clones. if all goes well..i may add some coco,few more t5's poly, and a fan and veg 3 of out right here and flower a few monsterz!!!!!

You would have had just has much success with a propagator don't assume just because you made this system it will get thing going that much faster.I'm not saying for a minute that it won't increase the time but there won't be that much differance.The first hydrophonic system that i ever bought i still use today has a cloner i have the feed set for 4 time a day for 15 minutes.During the 1st day soak the cubes, cut the clones under water this is also ph of 5.0/5.5 this stops any air folicule getting trapped in the stem.Then straight out of water into rooting compound that you feel at ease useing leave to soak for about 30 seconds then straight into a cube.Iput the hole at a 45 degree angle so the root has less distance to travel,the plant will look odd for the first week or so but it will upright itself once the light gets on it.Then i have made a wooden frame with cling film wrapped around the sides and top like a giant propagator spray the inside with water with superthrive in or feed plant start.Dont have the system running for the first 24 hours the cubes hold enough moisture in them selfs so they will be fine.Then after this time the clone will have soaked all the rooting compound in put the system straight on and most would be washed away.Then put on the feed scedule above and they will be fine should be rooted in 7/12 days even though a few may need a little longer.use cfl's or good old floresents get a few floresents over them.

thanks bro..=rep...i kinda knew all that tho..i use to use the aerogarden that werked real good for clone(just easier thats all) i use to do it ur way b4 that. im not really lookin for the time results to be outstanding with this system im just lookin for RESULTS...i thrashed my last few use the cube in a tray with a lil ph water and a dome humidity at like 80% it was my fault i know what i did wrong then..(took the dome off too early. only thing about this method(perlite) im kinda scared i want be able to remove the two plants from the doubled up pots. i do have two 24in t5s over them warm and daylight for now while hopefuly rooting will add more light if i deside to veg em here...thanks for the info tho..

yer cuttings look good and u should definitely see some results. as far as transplanting, that might me a little sketchy. do you plan on using soil or hydro???

thanx. my original plan was to let them root jus a bit then transfer them to dirtin the veg room..that woldnt be as hard i don't thin thas my normal routine..root in dro grow in dirt!!but if i have to see growth b4 i know theyve rooted i may just add 3 more pots thro some cocoxhydrorocks in em and let em veg for a few weeks in the dro then just slide the whole system into the bloom. with the t5s over them it kinda gives me another lil chamber.

depending on the results i plan to switch to 10 4"x4" square pots with rw and hydro rocks..i got like 7 or 8 mre of those drippers.

thats a good damn ?...haha i have no clue i wasn't thinkin bout it wen i put em in..as i have been use dirt so wen it cam to dro i had no medium..i figured i had no bucks but i had perlite and i dont think it will hurt em..but transplantin the doubles may prove challengein. i think ima flood em out till i can pull the root and all out b4 the merge then thro em in dirt..duno yet...any sugggestions??
