Help!!! Fan leaves dieing late in flowering!!!!

so ive read that its normal for the lower large fan leaves to be dieing but never did i read about all of the fan leaves dieing.

They are slowly changing from the dark green and yellowing up and then browning and falling off.....all of the other leaves and new growth that resulted in flowering are perfectly normal and arnt showing any signs of the sickness.....

is this something i should be worried about or is this a normal thing to happen?

looks like you are about 3 weeks flowering right? you may have made a simple and very common mistake, when we put the plant into flower we change to bloom nutes right away.....we arent actually flowering until we actually see the flowers forming, right up until that point the plant still needs grow nutes with higher amounts of nitrogen...is this what happened? did you give bloom nutes the first feeding after you changed the light cycle? my first gro i did this and lost a ton of leaves real fast, you can add a small amount of grow nutes on top of your flowering food. what nutrients do you use?

Normal... as you flower the N is lacking in the nutes compared to veg nute.. and leaves start to yellow and die....

You don't want to start adding anything if your about to start flushing..... Luck.

i agree, but looking at his pix the flowers look like they just formed, they look like they need 6 more weeks and he dont look like hes gonna flush anytime soon, i know the title says late flowering

you are probly getting close to harvest....its natural for all the leaves to turn yellow and/or die. just means that your bitch is concentrating more on growing her beautiful buds then the large fan leaves. the fan leaves store energy and nutrients like a fuel tank so when your plant needs them they are ready to supply.

yea i agree with you. i was thinking the same. maybe his buds are late bloomers.

Hey, its actually kinda late into flowering. I started the 12/12 cycle on Feb 20th but only first saw signs of buds on the 27th. so from the 27th till now, its been 6 and a half weeks of flowering. I have 3 month MG and stated the grow in the first week of January. Then that makes sense that the nutes are starting to run out about now. I havnt been adding any bloom nutes except for molasses every few days. if you look at the main cola, the bud is fully developed and just waiting for it to fill in a bit more but looking at the trichs, there is still alot of time.....

so when all is said and done, is there anything i could do about this or should i just let it be?

u serious? my plants look like that at 3-4 weeks, they need some P and K to put on some meat on them bones

egg shells seem to work pretty good for phosphorus idk about potassium
i know bananas have potassium but i dont know how you would go about feeding it to your plant
cant you just go buy some man?
P.S. i use 4 egg shells per plant

Egg shells and bananas take some time to break down and supply nutes, I feed them to my worms. Get some bloom nutes from the garden section.

forget the eggs and banans, try tiger bloom, its has good ratios and micro nutes, but theres not much you can do, you can feed for a couple weeks at best before you flush

I use some Guano Bloom 1-9-1
Dutch Master Potash Plus 0.7-4-11
Grotek Silica 0-0-3.8
Fish Emulsion 9-2-6

So NPK is N = 10.7 - P = 15 - K = 21.8
Mollasses, unsure but it has Potassium as well as Manganese, Copper, Iron, Calcium, Magnesium and Carbohydrates.
And yes, It's good to add small amounts of nitrogen during flower as it helps stop all the fan leaves from yellowing and dying.
