San Antoino Texas is having this big Fandago starting Today, called the St. Mary's Oyster Bake. Notices are being broadcasted about The DA's Office & Police will be out in force, looking for People who MAY have drank OVER their legal amount of Beer. The Govenment has prepared to document such by carrying them "Blow On This" device & if refused, a blood test will be imposed. OK. Beer is to be sold, in them so-many oz. plastic cups, usually 12 or 16 oz cups. Various types of Brews will be sold, probably Bud & Bud Lite. The Venders has bid on who get's the selling contract, big money involved. Lot's of money is paid to the Government for this set-up, pun intended. Permits, insurance, etc. So we have the Suppliers handing the beer out on one side, the Law Dogs on the other side, waiting in the wings.
What this is, is nothing short of an illegal Sting Operation, where the Citizens are set-up & targeted. The Govenment knows this, it's a secret. When I heard about the selling of beer, ($.50 cents of beer for $4.00) and the law dogs being unleashed, something didn't "feel" right.
These people are good/smart & professional. Money is the blood that starts the frenzy, but they only attack the weak, easy targets. The illusion that getting fined/confined for "Public Intoxication" (P I) is a simple misnomer offense, where as the Constitutional Rights is not enacted. This is a blantant, outright lie, the illusion created. "Anytime the Govenment imposes any adverse action upon a Citizen, whether it be financial impositions or the denial of a person's freedom or liberty, the full Constitional Due Process protections in wholly enacted". If I remember correctly, there is only 7 Due Process steps. 24 hours prior written notice, call witness, question the charging person, counsel, presenting documentation, impartial hearing & either right to appeal or beer at half/price, I forget.
So the Court is obligated to afford Counsel, which voids the whole sting operation. Having to pay counsel, court hearings eats up the profits, which is what the whole thing is about, anyway. That's why it's a secret.
But here's what struck me as odd, not quite right. The Govenment set the rules as to what is legally intoxicated, & what is not, We did not. The Law has devices to determine these levels, We do not. Price gaulging is illegal, it's their show, so they ignore that part.
So here goes South Texas, sucking Oysters & Brews. Both is legal. Cool. If I eat one dozen Oysters, I do not risk imprisonment or financial extortion. But if I drink one dozen brews, I will probably be chained up, have needles stuck in me, caged & held for ransom until the ransom/extortion can be done. If I do not have 30 pieces of silver to pay the ransom, the release price of a kidnapped Citizen, then I sit in a cage like a captured animal, to teach me a lesson.
Point, I don't know, or have the ability to test the level of alchol in a cup of 12 oz's. of Bud, or Bud Lite, or 16 oz. cups. If there is a Commercial showing how much of so-in-so beer is 64 calories, why can't some prior written notice be given, Like, You can have TWO & 1/2 cups of this beer, or 3 of this. This is the prior written notice law that is demanded by the US Const. Anything less than that is an outright illegal sting operation.
What's so sad is that the prior, posted written notice provided by The Govenment is a list of things to look for. IE:, "If a Person is Friendly & Socialble, He's probably a threat to Humanity as a whole." " If a Person is Generious and acts like a Care Giver, THIS WILL NOT DO !!". Etc. I love Stoned People. I despise stone throwers. Long Ashes.
