I started my flush a couple of days ago and after reading a bunch about harvesting I think I started early. My question is....since I started my flush 3 days ago should I stop the flushing and do it again in 10 days OR keep on flushing for 7 more days and than harvest?

I started my grow with MG moisture control-before I found this site.

I've been alittle worried that my soil would turn too acidic.

All I've been using is water and I'm 5 weeks in veg.

So far so good.

I did screw up the lighting starting out and now have 1 of the 2 plants slightly smaller.

My real problem is going to be, if they both turn out ot be male.

I've used MGmc for a coupla years now.
If you read the back of the bag, it used to say that Scott's advises you start hitting your plant w/all purpose after, I think, a month. Half strength at first.

As for the soil itself, don't buy/use it if it's sopping wet (in the bag) as this releases enough of the feed prills (Osmocote) to burn the shit outta young plants.
Also, if it's bone-dry, don't buy it. The bag'll be light. I got one and it had very few prills in it, like hardly any. Used it anyway. pH tanked.
It should be slightly moist in the bag. Keep your receipt. They're not shy about their 60 day guarantee.
Money in the bank.

I got the seeds from a guy, I used to get my best smoke from.

He said it was from the best he had smoked, so I'm hoping it's good.

Smells skunky already.

Seeds have a slight purplish color.

I think I'll order some the next time.
My buddy is opening a hydroponics store and if I invest that kind of money( and I will), I want to make sure I'm getting females and the highest(get it) yield possible.

Might try some pics later in the week.

thanks for the advice everyone! I stopped the flush. I think, after reading tatan's grow journal I might break my no nute rule and give it a big shot of bloom boost then go back to flushing in 10 days or so.

When I took that little bud and quick dried it last week I didnt smoke all of it. I wanted to save a little to dry it properly. I put it in a dark room for 24 hours, and now its been in a glass jar for about a week, Ive been burping it 4-5 times a day, when i put it in the jar is smelled amazing, now it smells like fromunda (grass) I know why it does but when does the smell come back??? will it come back?

so your buds never lost the smell during its curing stage? I was reading on a couple threads here that the smell will come back...but no one says how long it takes....this smilie is nasty

Lol... I dont know... im new as well...my harvest still smells... but its only been like 10 days..

Holy shit

I broke my rule 4 days ago and gave my plant some bloom boost, not a lot at all. every thing was fine I even checked her last night befor the lights went out and she looked fine...this morning I checked it and bam....all the fan leaves are dead some of the buds had just bend over. I have no idea what happend...well I must have given it to much. I flushed the crap out of it and Im just going to keep on doing it untill its time to chopp'er down. I'll post a pic later.

For my first grow am very happy, I fucked up at the end but learned my lesson. I got some really good smoke dudes!! Ive only smoked a little cause it is still drying. Over all it gets you fried. I smoke a lot, bong of choice, Gravitron (gravity bong) I took a couple of rips off my HG and it made me dizzy and real high.
I got just over an ounce, made a big tub of pot butter with all the fan leaves and trimmings, Ive already made some brownies those were fuckin sweet.
O' bet youve never heard of this befor. I made a grilled cheese sandwich with my weed butter and it was delishious.

Not sure when the next time Im going to be able to have 120 days to grow again but Im looking forward to it.

I would like to say thanks to all of you that have helped me out in the past couple of months, I wish you could all come over and smoke, have a sandwich and eat a brownie.
