Hey Ice...I stopped from a link on W1ckedchowda's thread. Great journal so far and cute girls. Are you doing a totally indoor grow, or planning on putting them outside? BTW: New England here also. Actually way upstate NY, but the same cold and snow...:!:

Good luck. I'll be checking out your progress.

I actually plan to do about 70/30, with the majority of them outdoors. Received a 400w HPS with this 400w MH conversion, so I feel the need to try it out asap :)

Thanks for the kind words and support, I'll be watching yours too :bigjoint:

Also too, I plan on doing some clones, so I'll be taking a couple sniplets once May 1st rolls around.

Great lookin girls by the way Ice, I think mine are just a few days ahead of yours so this'll be exciting growing next to ya! :leaf:

hello all,

its been a few weeks since my last updates so its about time.

the girls are doing pretty well...i am having a slight issue with stress i believe (slight downward curling in the leaves) but other than that they are lovin life.

i potted them up from the 12 oz Solo Cups into quart pots which they have been in for a few weeks.

i just picked up some 2 gallon pots which i will transplant into for the last of this grow.

they are about 7 inches tall right now...nice compact plants so far. i just want to work out this stress issue before i start to flower.

ill need to get some more group shots but check these out for now.

last feeding was about ppm 700.

any comments or suggestions are appreciated. i think the stress was caused by my light being to close to the canopy...temps were about 80-85 so i raised it up and its back down to 75.

i plan to veg for another 2 weeks before i make the switch to flower. ill pot up today and let them recover and veg for the next 2 weeks.

very wise decision. i boought a 400w hps for flowering as well and they two girls are just eating it up. it put my second girl into flowering the third day its light cylce was switched it showed me pistils. hid lights are so cheap now its worth it to invest in one. i spent around a hundred and 20 on my cfls- bulbs, fixtures, cords etc. and a hundred on 400w hps set up and another 25 for bulb and then 40 for my hood. way worth the couple more bucks.

sorry i have not updated sooner! i need to get some fresh shots too...but heres a little update.

girls are doing great...i turned to 12/12 on 4/1 so 9 weeks til finish im thinkin.

they were in top shape when the light was switched...all are about 12 inches and beginning to bush like crazy...nodes are VERY tight.

im likin what i see so far. temps when lights are off stay @ 65. lights on 75ish.

ppm is up to about 800.

i did a flush yesterday for all the girls using Botanicare's Clearex. so next watering i will be feeding them their first dose of bloom nutes. ppm will prob be around 1000.

i potted them up again btw, they are now in 2 gallon pots for their final home.

i gota get some pic's up on here they are looking very nice.

stay tuned..ill update with some pic's tonight hopefully.

what do you guys think about yields @ these sizes? i didnt want to let them get too big considering i only have access to a 400 watt light. im thinkin they will finish around 24 inches and hopefully 1-2 ouncez per plant...the nodes are very tight and branching is taking off.

picture update soon.

well here's another update.

the girls are simply lovin life. i mixed up their first dose of bloom nutes...Flora Bloom, Blend, Diamond Nectar, Floralicious Plus, and a splash of calmag.

The ppm was about 1050 and i foliar fed them for the first time....they realllly loved it i must say. within a few hours they were growing and getting that nice dark green. :eyesmoke:

i have successful confirmation of pistols on all 6 of the girls! which kicks ass...im so siked.

they are really getting bushier by the day and still growing.

they were on average about 12-14 inches when i decided to flower and today is the end of the first week of flowering.

Check em out..sorry for the crap pictures..they really dont do the girls justice! but its all i can do for now..stupid cell phone!

Comments and thoughts are appreciated. bongsmilie

as you can see they are very nice and dense!!!! anyone have any thoughts on yields? they are between 20-24 inches right now and dont think they will grow too much more over the rest of the flowering period.

ill be adding another 150 watt HPS to the 400 watt MH that is currently being used.

thanks bro...@ least your watching lol.

they are coming along great....pistols shooting off everywhere now.

btw, i made some homemade THC pills the other day. used about 21 grams of some dank.

heres some pic's...it was my first time making em and i prob shoulda used less oil to make them more potent. 5-6 of them still gets me STONED as hell though.
