so you are running over 5k, and you pay 12 cents per kWh, and your bill is 764? correct?

ok so 764 dollars / .12 cents per kWh is 6366.6 kWh per month..

6366.6 divided by 30 days in a month is 212.2 kWh per day..

212.2 kWh per day means that 24 hours a day you are burning 8.86 kWh

or 8,860 watts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week..

and if you are paying 12 cents per kWh you certainly dont live in norcal LOL i live in norcal and pay 4 times that amount

Some people word stuff a little harsh and some people can't take it look at Gordon Ramsey that guy is rad straight to the point tells it as it is. And people love it. I must say you do see alot of stupid post here alot of these question could be answered if you would read and learn what their talking about before posting a thread. I live in a house withtwo kids and a wife I have two gaming cpu's with 750 watt power supplys oh yeah each cpu has 26'' lcd's four flat screen tv's cpu's always on and yes I do live in nor cal and pay 12 cents per kwh. Why do you want to hate and think you know all let's see I wash clothes to I run my heater So all I gotta say to you iyou did;nt put in consideration all the other things you use in a house. And if you wanna meet name a spot and I will shake your hand. i do understand you CAN use that much electricity, and i know that there are other things in a house that use it other than lights fans and pumps lol my point is that i also live in norcal, and there is no way PGE lets you pay 12 cents per kWh when i pay 4 times that much on the tiered system. if so please explain your secrets cuz i would love to pay 120 dollars a month instead of 440

My granny lives in Ukiah she pays 8 cents kwh I'm 60 miles from her and pay12 cents kwh I have a couple friends in Sants Rosa and they pay 18 cents kwh one friend in heldsburg pay 20 cents kwh it vary's so much make a long story short we are all getting ripped off except my granny I think she get's some senior discount or somthing I would love to pay 8 cents kwh. You could also log onto PG&E's web site create an account and if you qualifiy for a discount you will get it one plan offers a 20% discount

My power in Texas is .03 cents per KWH. It is like 10x that in cali. I can 4000 watts for only an extra $50 a month.

so i'm running about 1100w lighting total plus a few fans wtr pumps etc.... my bill went up from about 75 for march last year to 105 for same month this year... i guess this isn't a big deal to pwr company?? this would be the same if i got a deep freeze, and an electric dryer appx???
