How you actually managed that leap is beyond me. I don't see what opposing a single payer system, or government ran healthcare has to do with opposing providing treatment to people regardless of their condition.
Of course, this actually has nothing to do with anything whatsoever because Doctors take the Hipocratic Oath to help patients first, or more accurately to, "First do no harm."
However, as I have stated before Health Insurance is not Health Care, and thus to attempt to state that everyone should have Health Insurance or Health Coverage or whatever words the politicians are using at the present time in an effort to disguise the fact that they are not actually talking about Health Care is not a rational position.
It doesn't matter if you have Health Insurance, or Health Coverage if there is no health care. It will not matter if everyone is insured if the doctors have long since quit practicing medicine because they are not able to get compensation commesurate with the overhead expenses they have to bear to actually provide medical care. It will not matter if everyone is insured if there are no doctors because they are sick of feeling stifled by endless red tape dictating exactly what they must and must not do when it comes to treatment.

Healthcare is one of the main reasons I love living in Canada. Sometimes you gotta wait about an hour to see a doctor at a hospital, but clinics you can see a dr right away. Healthcare for all, poor, rich, white, black, purple, green blue whatever.
