Jalapeno Weed

I've heard of people using small pieces of fruit in their jars to moisten up really dry weed, and that the weed will take on some of the flavor of the fruit. My roommate and I just came up with a sick idea. I'm growing some jalapenos this summer, and we thought of using small pieces of jalapeno in our jars to make some delicious spicy weed. I love spicy food, so just the thought of it has my mouth watering. What do you guys think? Could it work? Anyone done it already?

Nice Zia ;-), anyhow peppers give off oils too. So I would imagine you'd most definitely get some type of heat to it. Just make sure to keep the seeds of the jalapeno in, that's where the real spice is at.

Sorry man but I can't handle Habanero weed. Ya, I was just going to try it on a few buds first before I go and ruin a bunch of quality smoke. I'll let you know how it turns out, but it could be awhile before I try it.

you're gonna burn the fuck outta your throat, way worse than if you eat the pepper. Do you really want pepper vapor and smoke in your lungs?

I eat jalapenos for breakfast, my friend. You're right, it might end up being a bad idea, but I think its worth a try. It could be good if you can get just enough jalapeno flavor so you can taste it, but not so much that it burns.

Mmmm... I love me some jalapeno.

And that Naga Jolokia pepper sounds like a death wish, fuck that.

i agree it would be sick to get the taste of jalas in your cure. they are my all time favorite.

if you can get that to work without a harshness but a bite, awesome, i prefer a little bite but it may be deleterious to your lungs even more ontop of the smoke itself

Sounds good in theory as I love spicy food too.. keep in mind it might not be the best shit to inhale though.. if you vape it thought i bet that would be PRIME.

but if you cut out the inside membrane of the jala and take out seeds and wash it off then there would be little or no capsaicin oil and you would be left with the "meat" which has the flavor you want. i think it would work good like that.

Intriguing.

This experiment is worthy of the JohnnyOrganic thumbs up.

Good luck and good growing.
Thanks Man

That's the thought I came up with last night. I definitely don't want the seeds in there, that'd be torture. But, like you said, if I just use the meat, I'd probably get the delicious flavor with minimal harshness.

Thanks for the input.
