1st Time Grower

Alright, i've recently been inspired to grow a plant lol. I pretty much have zero knowledge about growing...i'm wondering what are the minimum things I need to be successful for an indoor grow?


PS: I have about 6 seeds that i'm preparing in damp paper towel that are almost sprouted..

Congrats and may your first grow be great. Just read what you can around here. There really not hard to grow as long as you give them the right lights and growing medium ( I would suggest soil for a first grow, it's more forgiving).If I can help you in any way just give me a holler.

Must have a ph meter, it will make or break your babies.
Lights/temps/nutes ~ just those few things you can give it a go.

Thanks for the feedback you guys...My friend told me to grow mine in a growblock with a oxygen pump? Any thoughts on that?

try some soil and pots(works great).

Lol well he got that idea from his mate who grew a 8 foot tall dro plant that way...but the plan eventually died and they couldnt even get high off the bud they smoked.

It's going to cost you some $$ upfront but you will be able to pay it back within 1-2 harvests....


Suggested:
600 watt hps... dont go for mh now unless you have some extra $$

six 5 gallon mediums (pots with soil)

Organic soil with perlite .. good drainage

hydroton rocks to put on bottom of pot .. very good at getting oxygen to the roots... you wont need much

2-3 fans... dont blow it right on the plant

Something that measures temperature and humidity....

since its your first grow you will definitely want a $5.00 device to check water levels in soil ( if it needs water or not)...

Veg nutes.. and flower nutes..

and that is good for a first time grow...

A lot of mj plants can get up to 8 feet... they take off in flowering stage...

Just indulge your kinky side and practice bondage and a little bit of cutting - no reason you cant keep them under 4-5 ft.

trimming the top of the plant.. ( where the growth is at ) will increase how many colas you will get ontop + it will decrease the growth and keep plant small and bushy..

I'd prefer to say that it promotes increased horizontal growth and/or slows vertical growth.

i just started the flowering stage at week 6 1/2 plants are about 15inches tall i want to clone my plants if female to have a consistent supply of bud. but i dont know how or when to so please help if you can ??? any advice would help......
