Am I Ripe?!

This is my first plant and I Know its smokable b/c I've already chopped a couple branches off, dried them and smoked them. Great weed, covered in crystals. A good two thirds of the hairs have turned red and the leaves are starting to yellow. I have a microscope that is 60x - 100x magnification. the crystals are clear to milky with only a few rare amber ones. I am wanting to cut the whole plant down tomorow and begin curing it but i want to make sure I'm not cutting it down too early. My question is this; with the information I've given can anyone tell me if my buds are ready? All help is appreciated. the picture is around three weeks old so it's not at all how it looks today but i wanted to throw a picture in anyway. I can't take a new one now cause she is sleeping.

2 to 3 more weeks, please. :)

edit: i just read the whole thing.

judging from the pics, i'd say 2 to 3 more weeks. but if the pics are 3 weeks old then you should be cool. :)

I made a lot of mistakes with this plant and did a lot of learning as i was going along. it is very stretched and i gave it a bad case of nute burn. i've already clipped a couple branches but I want to get the most potency out of it that i can. Does anyone want to change thier advice now that you know the pics are three weeks old? I just don't want to pick it too soon if i need to wait longer. is going by the trichomes an accurate way of judging when to harvest?

So you say
"This is my first plant and I Know its smokable b/c I've already chopped a couple branches off, dried them and smoked them. Great weed, covered in crystals"

You must be used to skunk weed because you obviously didnt dry and cure properly to ID it as "great weed". I never smoked branches though...am I missing something?

Come on! Certainly you don't think I'm smoking branches, do you? Of course I mean branches with buds. I didnt cure them properly. I left them in the room with the lights for two days to quick dry them just for the purpose of getting a taste. forgive my impatience but i'm excited and anxious at the same time. When I say great weed I mean it's virgin bud with lots of trichomes. definately a step above ur normal bagweed as far as quality goes. My girl's are sleeping right now so no pic's, or at least no good ones, but I do have some that are a few days old. I have a second plant that I haven't made any real mistakes with in the same planter with the one you've already seen pic's of. The pictures are concentrated on the second plant but you can see the one that I've been asking about in the pictures. FYI, the second plant is already over 4 feet tall.
