I just sprouted 2 seeds and they are about 1-2" tall. I am using 2 2ft cool white fluorescents. I have a 400W MH bulb, when would be a good time to switch over?
Lights?

so far i just have my plants in small rockwool cubes. I am giving them squirts of water everyday. Just wondering what i can do to get these guys going.

Young plants wont need quite so much water, so try not to water them so often, I know its hard. Those flouros will be good for another 2-3 weeks, seedlings do not need that many lumens, so I wouldnt use the MH before then.

Well here are my 3 plants after 5 days. What do you guys think? Im going with 5 gallon bucket DWC. Im planning on using a small bubbler to get these small plants up to size to put into the 5 gallon buckets. Well at least thats what the plan is.

ya, dont worry i have HPS for flowering, just want to know how/when i can kick these little guys into high gear to get things movin along.

yea just wait for the stems to get rigid and give them hell.
do you think it can hurt to use MH? i've got a 400w bulb about a foot away from mine. got some probs developing... trying to figure out what it is- if you feel like taking a look, click here.
if he did not have an hps set up i wood use the mh for flowering, as i use cfl for my veging, as thay sem to grow just the same with cfl or mh in veg
