sup peeps frist timer grow got a few pic of my baby 20 days old.

i started my setup wit 2 cardboard box's i tape together with duck tape a 4 foot fls tube 40 wat x 2tubes. tape foil in the inside started seeds in peat pellets cheap lil setup it worked till i got a better setup

now i got a new 4x6x4 tent & 400 watter

im useing MG potting soil and perlite also have Mg nutes all purpose plant food 8-7-6
have a few spots of rust looking stuff a 1 of my plants not sure what it is not sure if yall can see it in the pic either

thanks the r bag seeds was think of going into flower stage. u can go into flower stage any time in the plants life?

is there a way to tell if these plants indica or sativa i know indica dont get as big as sativa and i read they have different highs also

if i were you i would wait about a month then go into flowering.. i would also consider topping them.. you will get twice the yield!

Nah mate, don't flower yet! Give them another 2 weeks of veg at least! They look pretty healthy & will be twice as big in 2 weeks if not bigger! You'll end up with more yield! But it's up to you! Good job:bigjoint:

i have a few q's for MG soil users i have 50/50 mg soil/perlite i hear u dont have to feed nutes till 2 months i feed them a week ago seem like they like it wanna know if it kool to feed with time release nutes in ur soil it work once when i feed them last week but i hear its better to under feen rather then over feed. feed every other water? or half str. every watering?

Plants are looking super healthy for 20 days...GOOdJob on that.
as far as nutes goes..ur safe.U said you gave them some already? if so..how much did you use..as long as they diddnt burn your good.,its better to be under than over(thats a for sure thing)...20 days is young,but they are really full..id 1/2 or less..every 3rd or 4th day to be safe..if they take that.id run it for a while..then move up!
and a hundred seeds..looks like ur in business

i would like to learn how to top and lst thx for the tip gonna have to read up on topping

by topping the plant means cut the top of the stem off?

thx lazy ya i feed them a week ago and they just took off only 1 plant out of 10 has a few burn spots its the 1 thats single out but looks like u cant see the spots but the rest love it the direction say feed every 2-4 weeks a 1/2 cap full with 1 qth water. i use 1 teaspoon to a gallon with a few drops of superthive

sounds like u got it under control,but if it burned already,id put a delute a bit and ya i use superthrive..i went to walmart yesterday to pick up some more and they told me they couldnt sell it too me cuz it was on recall..so sucks for me..so i just bought some worm castings in spray form instead..diddnt know you could even buy it there intill then.i guess something good came from the bad.altho id still like to get some...

ok i have a mh/hps 400 watter i saw on the net they did a test in the same room with a mh & hps the plants under both lights mh & hps did better then the 1's just under the MH but hps plants did better then the Mh & mh/hps mh r good for veg hps good for flower but u can use it for veg too rite

so if i switch to hps will they grow better then MH?

growing from seed I would wait until the plant matures(alternating nodes), you will get a better quality weed for the wait. If you are growing a clone(which came from a mature plant) You can start flowering anytime without loss of quality. As far as topping goes I disagree with those who say it increases yield. While it does give you 2 colas, more if you multiply the process, the colas will not be as big as the original single cola would have been. If you are worried about vertical space I would say top them, but with a larger number of plants it will increase the density of your canopy and make it hard for light to penetrate the lower portions of the plant.


Plants are looking good, nice and tight, hope you continue to update...

you can use both in veg..but you will get better results if you only use the hps in flowering...12/12
