Spartan vs Ninja....who will win

the show was suchhh bull shit.....theres no way a spartan could train themself to get glass thrown in the eye and only be blinded for like 5 seconds, the spartans going to blink and fuck up his eye, and in the beginning when the spartan was just walking, his neck was soooo open...all the ninja had to do was pull the blowdart out and the spartan wouldve been gone

I think anyone that watched how the fight played out even you spartan nut huggers would agree it wouldnt have went that way, like with the ninja sneaking up behind the spartan and letting out a scream before he attacked so the spartan would conviently hear him was stupid... the ninja would just fuckin ganked his ass.

I think they should take the dudes that was for the ninja side and the guys that was for the spartan side, gear them up and let them fight to the death for real, then we would know lol

hey guys im working on my degree in history with my major in military strategy, and agree that the spartan would most likely win most of the time. There would be times where the ninja would win but there would be a higher chance for the spartan. they were trained to fight both formal enemies and more importantly the eastern armies of the Persian states who had gear very similar to the ninjas of japan. they both wore light cloth and leather armor, both had the same basic weapons(short sword, daggar, bows, and throwing weapons) and the spartans knew how to fight against those weapons already. also, the spartans had some of the best fighting methods at the time, they wore very light if any armor, helmets had a very lerge firld of view but could deflect direct hits from an arrow. thier shields were used as both a offencive and defencive weapon. they also wielded a spear and heavy short sword(weighing up to 2.5 kilos).
The bigest thing though is how they fight, spartans have trained extensively to fight easter style warriors while the ninjas had no experience with western style fighting which is a very agressive block/counter style.

but the ninja wasnt trained to stand and fight.. he was trained to use poision, to blend in to his surroundings.. Ninjas were actually employed by the emperor to protect him.. there were samurai all over the place as a show of force to protect him.. but the gardner's and servants around the palace were actually trained ninjas.. that just incase some shit popped off, they could quickly take whomever out and call it a day...

so again, how do you fight a deadly peasant? A gardner who's minding his own until you walk by and catch a poision dart in the throat? How do youdefend against somebody who comes from behind, follows you and when you fall asleep or are your most vulnerable, he then attacks?

I agree, the spartan was a badass in combat and war.. but you're talkin a straight up battle.. thats not the ninjas game.. he shakes your hand and stabs you in the fuckin face.. the ninja was trained to remain in the shadows until he attacked, and I think we can all agree, that with their lightning quick abilities, you wouldnt really see him attack until after he attacked.. if he attacked you when you could see it.. so maybe by the books the spartan wins.. but in reality, he was dead before he ever got suited up...

The main thing is the ninjas tactics, spartans trained since they were 8, etc, but were talking about 2 totally different times here, no matter how much a spartan trained...theres no way you can train the eye to get glass thrown into it and just naturally not blink, another thing is they didnt even have glass back in the spartan days so they just wouldnt even see it coming... hes eventually going to blink and his eye will be fucked up...how they interpreted it in the show was retarded...he gets blinded for 5 seconds, no he would be wiping his eyes and shit trying to get it out
