Next week on deadliest warrior, Pirates vs Knights...who will win

im pretty positive the knight will win but im betting on the pirate for the hell of it

If they continue with there trend I'll say the pirate will win. In theory I know the knight will win in a straight up fight, but they'll use some bullshit scenario where the knight is fighting against Davy jones and his crew aboard the black pearl.

As far as the Knight and Pirate, Im going to go with Knight even though in real life I think the pirate would just shoot and kill the knight, but in the show they will make his shot miss somehow then the knights slow klanky ass that cant see out his helmet will kill him. After the ninja/spartan show I have lost respect for this show, its more entertainment with no common sense than actually scientific based comparisons.

knights for sure. pirates may have guns but i dont think they would do too much damage to a knights armor from far away and they have no chance at short of close range. pirates also have no chance of defense. knights are used to having things fly at them. arrows and giant rocks from catapults. i dont think a pirate with 1 gun will scare him.

I'll second that. A knight in full plate with either a greatsword or a bastard sword/shield combo would easily take down the pirate, regardless of how many guns the little, more mobile guy had.

However... I'm assuming that if the pirate wins, it'll solely be because he had no armor, decided to cross some body of water, and the armored knight could not follow. He would have to take off his armor, and there is where the friggin' pirate would strike...

All-in-all, my money IS still on the knight though.

Do you realize that a straight stab with a sword would go straight through that armor? As soon as that pirate gets behind the knight he would be done for. I saw that episode, absolute bullshit. The gladiator smashed the Apache right in the face into the ground and the Apache was fine. It was bullshit all around.
