Sprouts too Tall?

So...I was wondering...if my sprouts are too tall. The first leaves from the sprout are only 1 CM long each right now but the white sprout/stem is already nearing 5 inches!!!

I moved the CFL's I have really close to them but they keep going up every day!

Any help?

Or should I just get some toothpicks for support and let em grow?

Chutesandladders, how many lights do you have? I mean, if you're growing with three CFLs, that'd explain it. Can you give us a picture or a description of your setup?
