Just finished running jack the ripper. Buds are huge. potency is decent. production strain as far as i'm concerned.

Good to know! I do plan on making hash out of most of it. Its not the only strain I have but the only big ones in flower. I have a few indica (Master Kush X Hogs breath, and a dying gdp clone wtf?) going but they are about 4 weeks behind my JTR. The indica I will smoke and the JTR will be made into hash, well 75% of it. I really like sativa hashes, even tho I generally stick to kushes and grape strains for smoking(indicas). Seems like the sativa hash gives you the best of both worlds. Aged hash is the shiz....

yeah it seems for me when all said and done that indicas have more punch or at least indica dominant hybrids anyways. it seems people with high tolerances prefer indicas.

I'm w/ you racer. The indica's seem to work better on chronic conditions.

Don't totally rely on me for the jtr evaluation. My tolerance is silly.

I trimmed the jtr really close and have a lot of stuff for my hash bags. I'll let you know how the jtr hash turns out. If it's anything like the pot of gold from this run it will be good. I've turned to hash for my main stay along w/ vapeing. Good Luck

Buds = more Trics = More hash per gram.

How much hash do buds produce per gram versus hash made from leaf. Thats what I want to know.

We can argue about wether the trics are higher quality on the bud as opposed the the leafs, later! heheh

I have grown one crop of JTR and all I can say is HOLY SHIT thats good dope!!! U get crystals almost in week 3..looks like it snowed on the leaf!!!

im growing jtr outdoors looks like a good yielder. most sativas normally yield well i hope quality is good also as that is not always the case. the best sativa i have grown so far is blue dream well see if jtr is as good.

From personal expirience, probably the best bud i've ever tried. Absolutely killer weed....it's actually astonishing to be exact. Take it from a heavy daily smoker. I've smoked a bit of everything from White Widow to Kush to Medical shit...Jack The Ripper did exactly what you think it would. It ripped me fuckin apart lol In a good way of course. One of the favorite things I liked from it was the positive high effect it gave me. No crashin or "dumb-like" high. Would definately recommend this strain

My girls are looking so good right now... I'm very happy with this strain. Im taking clones and i'll make a mother for the collection for sure. VERY HAPPY so far and I haven't harvested yet. Thanks for all the info!

one of my j.c.2's was darker green, and had a freak out when it was a seedling...it almost died, but then rebounded, and started throwing off these black dom lookin' baby leaves...my spacebomb kinda' has the same look. anyway, the leaves now look a lot more sativa, and the plant's got NO purple(which is exceedingly rare here). I'm guessing it's the jtr pheno of jc2. the other jc2's look like 60-70% sativa, and lighter green. I can't wait 'til july, when I can actually try one! "I'm a lemonhead!!!!"

dieselhound it is very easy just google 'making ear wax with butane' or 'making honey oil with butane' i make my own extractors or you can buy them it will cost you a few bucks for whats needed. other than that you will need high quality butane and trim or whole buds fast and easy to make extremely high potency.

You can also make amber rocks that I think are a little more pure. Isopropl alchol the best u can get (91 or higher). You take fresh buds (not cured) and wash in a jar for 30-60 seconds, then boil down to amber rocks.
