Plant Spacing

assuming you have ample lighting you can cram them in there not sure how many exacly how many but if you have enough lighting you can cover the whole area with plants...IMO... I do this and have had no problems because of this I do use some cfl's to supplement the big lights and light the lower areas where the hps wouldnt reach even if i had more space

:hump:42" tall x 31" wide x 20" deep is all the space i had and the shed was supposed to fit 14 plants but I found that to be too large for the plants I was growing, next time I'll plant less.:blsmoke:

I meant to say too many, however i am new at this and i had problems switching from metal halide(400 watts) to hps grow bulb so my plants started flowering under the metal halides and they really filled in that small space fast and started to burn a little under the lights.:peace:

Its under a 600w HPS in an ebb and flow system. Its gonna be an sativa/indica mix no matter what I end up getting.

20 plants will fit nicely under that light, especially if you trim the bottom 1/3 off twice. Once just when you flower them (12/12 LIGHT CYCLE) and then again two weeks later. These are also good opportunities to take a few clones, but thats another subject. Here is what they look like under a 600 watt equivalent light. VV:hump:

Are you sure? 20 plants? And by trimming off the bottom third you are refering to the leaves, right?

I can show pictures of the other two tables if necessary. And by trimming the bottom 1/3 twice I mean cut off everything but the stem. You will want to check out the source for this to see the results he gets. You can do that by reading Al B Fucts journal, "How To Get A Harvest Every Two Weeks" You will notice some bullshit about lights, don't get caught up in that keep reading. Oh, and be sure to look at the yield he is getting, every two weeks. Of course the strain he is growing may be different than yours. And his tables are 4 x 4, and he is only using a 1000 watt modified light over two tables.
If you read about SOG or SCROG you will see why this is done. I read about the folks that can't wait to top thier plants and I cringe every time. Its like cutting your head off and asking you to grow, the ultimate stress. Here is the top and bottom of a Sea of Green. This table of plants is all WW that I nursed through, because I didn't understand when I should clone. After reading Al's journal, and discussing it with a friend, I had my answer. I just posted that yesterday in answer to a cloning question please refer to it. One gallon pots, rockwool, flood and drain, 440 watt 8-tube T-5, with two blue spectrum bulbs 6 red spectrum. I think you can almost count the stems in the picture of the bottom. VV

I know. I posted it anyway. That is the table I started with, and the 400watt hps. Obviously a drip system. Here are those same plants. Notice the BlueLab Truncheon, well worth the $135.00 investment.VV:roll:

I , uhh guess its time to start a journal. I seem to be posting pictures everywhere. Most of the things I have came from this forum. That would be a long story. VV
