miacle gro organics choice or pro mix

I have been growing for a while and I normally stay completely away from miracle gro. I normally use ff ocean forest with added perlite and always have great results. Problem is $20 a bag is becomming expensive these days and I have been looking for a new soil. Does anyone have real experience of either of these soils? Did it affect yield taste, etc.? Any help or opinions would be great.

I already checked the nutes already in the soils and they are both low. The miracle gro seems to be of natural nutes though. Forgot to add I grow organic. Again thanks for any feedback

The only 2 I have tryed way FF OF and Roots Organic. I am sold and staying with the FF. Miracle grow has a following in here, but it's not for me. I like to add nutes and really push them high.

Yeah I like ocean forest myself. Hell I have used it 8 years. The thing is with a 2 flower room system 15 plants each soil gets high when you dont reuse.

ya im a big miracle grow user, i love it and am SUPER LIGHT with any extra stuff i add like bone meal, batguano, fish emulsion, kelp meal, and marine cuisine. my friend works at a hydroponics/indoor grow shop and he just keeps bringing me free samples of stuff, ive never once burned my plants with miracle grow but i water only when they need it. if u keep em soaked im sure thats where people fail with miracle grow. taste i couldnt tell u. sry. not smoker. just supplier for people with medical needs

I use Pro Mix and know plenty of other growers who do and won't switch (unless they have too)
Here's a recipe to convert Pro Mix to an organic mix:

  4 cups bone meal - (phosphorus source)
  4 cups blood meal - (nitrogen source)
  1 cup epsom salts - (magnesium source)
  3 cups dolomite lime - (calcium source & pH buffering)
  4 cups kelp meal.
  1 bag (25 lb.) worm castings [/FONT][/FONT][/FONT]

i use peat moss,vermeculite,perlite,lime,worm castings,myco fungi...my hoes love this and is completely organic...iven if the miracle grow is organic the soil is way heavy and the ingredients are average at best....i spend like 50 dollars and thats enough for like 60 plants

frmrboi you say you use pro mix. In what form do you use it? I am not real big into organics completely yet. I make compost teas but not to level of mixing a super soil if you will. I guess what I mean is do you use straight pro mix with perlite or anything else?

just perlite, that's it, I'm trying to go as far unorganic as possible, just for the interest of science. I use Wal Marts' 20-20-20 & 15-30-15 soluble and Alaska Mor Bloom 0-10-10.
I recycle my perlite from previous grows by dumping the old soil into a tub of water and skimming it off (it floats !) The more perlite you have the better MJ seems to like it.

dude i seen some bud from a mirical grow dude ow my god i cant beleive it he got 3 per plant wich happen to be 9 under a light math......27 ounces almost two pounds short five from beeing 2 i seen it all... he uses nothing but mirical fucken gro????? n his buds r fucken like a profesional he just got dignosed with luceemia man i cant belevie it i have spent way to much money on nutrients why WHY is it so fucken complicated this dudes been doing it for years old man well i gota say im gona try it in water n test the thiery..... ill let u know what happends.. fuck me man i cant believe it i still in shock....

I used MG on a grow last year. It worked great. Just be careful not to over water.
