indoor sativa grow

Hi,
my Chronic is almost at harvest, its time to start a sativa grow.

I have Sensi Seeds Durban,
I planted just one seed, it just sprouted yesterday.

It is under cfls right now but in a few weeks it will be put under the 400w HPS.
My questions/concerns:
I have a total from floor to ceiling about 7 feet. I need about 1.5 feet for the container/pot, I need about a foot inbeetween the light and the plant, and about 6 inches off the cieling so the light doesen't start a fire on the top.

So, I have about 4 feet of actual plant sapce, how can I most effectivleygrow this pure Sativa?

The plant is in a small wardrobe closet now, and when it starts showing sex I am going to take a couple clones, and put those in the space mentioned above. I will keep the original as a mother, or perhaps put it outside in the woods somewhere.

If you want to keep it's genetic height, then you can train it to grow in circles. If you want to keep it below 4 or 5 feet then force it to flower young. I recently finished an AK47, which is a Sative/Indica Hybrid, and I forced it to flower on day 9 at 4 inches high. It finished around 4 ft tall. You could also let it get rootbound in a 3g pot; that will stunt it and keep it from growing to its natural height.
