A question regarding feminized seeds

I know a male flowering plant looks like this...

I know all those seeds are a 50/50 male to female ratio as well.

So when you have a nice big frosty bud and break it open and seeds pour out from the inside, are all those seeds feminized due to cross polination?

The reason I'm asking is because I was just given 12 seeds and they came from the inside of a nice big bud of some really good chronic. Are these feminized? And do you think they would be worth growing? Or should I just buy some?

I couldn't tell you until you told me everything about the plant which your seeds came from. Was this a hermaphrodite plant?

I bought some fem seeds and my mentor a family member who use to run a grow OP but now just dibble dabbles after 12 years in prison told me I wasted my money in his opinion. My grows not far enough to sex but paying an extra 200 bucks for seeds I won't do it again. I'm just hoping I get a nice mother out of the deal not a hermie. Anyone know if that 99% female ratio includes hermie plants? Since genetics are passed to seeds.

Well I got the seeds from an experienced grower who does cross-polination. I don't know if they are feminized for sure though. I just watched him break open a nice frosty bud and seeds just poured out. I'm just thinking if that good of weed has seeds then they must be feminized??

It all depends on how the pollen was collected, to cross with the female flower. If the pollen was collected from a male plant and used to pollinate a female flower, then you are going to get regular seeds, which could be 50/50, male/female. If the pollen was from a female plant that was forced to herm and the pollen was collected to pollinate a female flower, you are going to get feminized seeds. There is no way to know what type of seeds you have by looking at the bud or the seeds.
