dam man lots of trichomes on there very nice..... you should think of a way to change your res with out moving the plants just my two cents, i read moving them allot in flowering can turn them hermies, but with your new room (when ever we get to see it :cry:) you will not have that problem i think. Keep it up MrGreenthumb going to be a nice harvest.

Wow. Never read that they can possibly go hermie just from moving. Maybe thats my problem with the Sour D.

Sucks I have no way to change the water without moving them.

The next grow won't require me to move them at all. I'm gonna go soil.

Sweet that should be fun, going to be fun watching them grow, have you tried coco yet i am having fun with that, thinking of going half hydro and half coco 5x5 for my next grow.

Yea I heard if you move them to much you can stress them then stress turns them to hermies but i am still new

If you use your ebbaflow agian just attach a drain hose like you did to your ROres at the bottom to drain and make a Hole in the top tray and put a plug/puck to close it then use that to fill. You have clear tubs so you dont need one but on my ebbaflow i have a water level tube that doubles as a drain tube only leaves 1/2, 1/4 inch of water left in the res

Sorry fellas. I'm a lousy updater lately. Work is crazy and every last minute I get I'm working on the new room.

I chopped the grow last Wednesday and it's been drying/curing since. I found quite a few seeds in the rest of the plants. I'm really pretty disappointed in the yield and the seeds. The weed I did get was packed with trichcromes and had a decent smell. But again I'm just bummed because I know it could have been much better.

So far I have learned stay away from feminized seeds and clones from untrust worthy sources. I'm really not sure which plant was hermie and knocking up everything else. For all I know there could be another grower in the area with males. Another big thing is I crowded that cabinet waaaay too tight. The next grow will be (4) Mendo Purps grown from Non-Fem seeds. I started it last Wednesday.

Like a dickhead I didn't get pictures when I chopped. Was just kinda pissed. I'll post up some pics of the nugs and give a smoke report soon.

I'm excited about the new room. It consists of (2) 1000w lights, a portable 9500 BTU A/C, filtration for intake air (incase there really is a grower with males in the area), 8" centrifugal fan with large charcoal filter, 6" centrifugal fan to vent lights, and one other 6" fan to vent the room. Considering switching the CO2 over but I'll need to grab a larger tank. My Dual Cabinet System will be hooked to the big room since my new A/C kicks ass and can cool the tent and the cabinets.

I also made up some soil (following the Subcool tutorial). It was 6 bags organic potting soil, 30 lbs worm castings, 5lbs bat guano, 5 lbs bone meal, 5 lbs blood meal, 3/4 cup dolomite lime, 1/2 cup epsom salts, and water. It's cooking in the sun now and should be ready for my new seeds that should get here in a month.

I will post some photos of the room when I finish it up this weekend. Thanks for tagging along everyone. Well back to work for me.

Sounds good man, i just read another thread of a guy having that problem with a neighbor growing males and turning his crazy pollen can go every where like that, good thing you setup filter for the new room no worries now ..... loooking forward to the pics.

Ouch GKN, cut a brother some slack :) Sorry fellas for the lack of updates. I'm still around, just hardly any time to do anything. Still working around 80 hrs per week and the last two weekends have been super busy with my 5 year anniversary and a couple of birthdays :)

The Mendo Purps grow is looking good, other than a little over fertilization problem I had. This strain has a much lower tolerance for nutes than the other strains I have grown. One plant is badly burned and the others show little to no signs of burn. I have to say though, this weed smells fantastic already. I have read a few things suggesting the Mendo Purps strain isn't worth growing, so far I have to disagree.



The new room is coming along nicely. I wanted to wait and put up pictures when it was 100% but just couldn't wait. Right now I need to finish the filtered intake system, wiring, and install the light fan and the regular vent fan, both of which are on backorder at the Hydro Shop. I'll have them by Thursday. The room has to be 100% by this weekend so I get these seedlings under some decent light, they are stretching mike mad right now.

Basically the room is going to consist of 2k of light, (2) 6" centrifugal fans for ventilation and for the lights, (1) 9500 BTU portable A/C to cool everything, (1) 8" cent. fan and charcoal filter to keep the smell down, and (2) 20lb CO2 bottles and regulator to keep the CO2 respectable. There is no room in my garage at the moment to get better pictures of the room. After I'm done I'll free up some space and get better photos.









Here is the "Super Soil" I made up. Been cooking in the sun for about a month now. It consists of 6 bags organic potting soil, 5lbs Blood Meal, 5lbs Bone Meal, 30lbs worm castings, 5lbs bat guano, dolomite lime, and epsom salts. I tried to follow the Subcool tutorial as closely as I could. Cannot find azomite though.


Here are the Jack the Ripper seedlings that came last week. I started them a couple of days ago. 100% germination in about 18-20 hours. Unfortunately they are stretching under these shitty CFL's. I'll have them under some better lighting by the end of the week, would rather they strech a little than go in my hot ass garage.

Also have 5 "Power Skunk" seeds germinating.


Have a look at the seedling on the right. There are three shoots coming from one seed. Is this normal? Should I cut all but the largest head?
