Well, so nice that the thread is pleasant again.I'm starting to think you're wearing troll pheromones, fdd, you certainly do get a lot of them.
Can you melt it down and do it over?^^if your referring to me, as a troll, i have you know that im buying a few pipes from him and checkin em out right now!
all my blow outs keep cracking. i'm making them too thick. this one looks really nice, but it has a HUGE crack in it.

i don't know. if i can melt it down without trapping bubbles maybe. it may make a cool marble.

people pay for sea glass?I like the blue one.Cobalt blue is one of my favorite colors.I was wondering if you can use scrap glass? Because you live in California, and on the beaches, there's a lot of "sea glass", which is just old glass bottles, etc that have been tumbled by the ocean.People pay a LOT fro that stuff.And if you could make a pipe out of authentic "sea glass,"I bet you would make quite a bit.But I'm not telling you what to do, just thinking aloud.

Looks like a clean break. It wouldn't be hard to fix. Maybe you could find a local glass blower and ask what they'd charge.Would fire mend this wound?
