Ok so here is the story. This is my first time making a real attempt at growing some decent bud. I have done a lot of research and read a couple cultivation books but something is happening I think it might be heat stress but I wanted to ask some better qualified individuals. My set up is as follows. I have 24 CFL warm spectrum lights at 23 watts each for a total of 552 watts in a 2' wide 4' long 3'8" tall box with one 100 cfm whisper intake and one out take fan. The entire box was painted flat white along with the cardboard reflectors. The plant strain is automatic ak-47 in 5 liter pots filled with a ph balanced 5.5-6.5 soil with added vermiculite for better drainage. The soil had said no fertilizers needed for the first 2-3 weeks. The temperature was way to high the first few days of there life pushing 100 F but I have since purchased a wall ac and have gotten the temperature down to 80 - 85 F And will be getting more fans to hopefully bring down the temperature along with using dry ice instead of the fermenting method to try to lower the temp further. The humidity is around 20 to 30 %. I water them with purified water balanced out to 6.1 -6.5. I have added a little jacks classic fertilizer at 1/8th strength at one of there waterings to see if that would help but I don't want to harm them. The plants are between 6 - 10 days out of the ground. And only about half of the plants seem to be suffering the others are deep green and doing great! Any help would be greatly appreciated if more information is needed please let me know.
