Male or female?

Hey guys....I've got some plants that are doing extremely well in my dwc setup....all from high quality seeds. They're around 5/6 weeks along and have been constantly under 18/6 600W MH. I've heard that some people can tell the sex before switching to 12/12. Here is some pics....can anyone tell???

guess no one has any input?? The only reason I'm trying to find out without swithching to 12 and 12 is because I've got a few small seedlings that are just developing in the same light.....don't think they're ready to sex yet. Will it be harmful to the very small seedlings to switch to 12 and 12 for long enough to sex the larger plants....then switch back to 18 and 6? Any ideas are welcome!

you cant tell yet dude. you have to put it in 12/12 for it to show signs of sex. you also taking pics at the wrong part of the plant

where should I take the pics? I thought I should look at the crotch of the branches?........and do you think the 12 and 12 will be alright for the tiny seedlings for a few days until I can tell the sex of the larger plants....then switch back to 18 and 6

Dude, your entire comment is wrong!

Plants WILL show sex before you put it under 12/ 12 and he IS taking pictures of the right part of the plant.

But it is too early to tell. I see a little something in the 5th picture but it could be either the start of a female pre-flower or a male.

You have 2 options:

Either wait till it shows it's sex
or
Go to 12/12 and hasten the process.

Thanks for clearing that up!......any ideas on how long before they will show sex without being switched to 12 and 12? I don't have exact dates...but the most mature are close to 6 weeks from sprouted seed. The thing is that I'm ready to cut some clones, but I figure I may as well wait till I know what I've got....They are so happy....I hope they're ladies!
