I'm trying to figure out a good way to time these 2... Would it be a good idea to keep them both on for 15 mins then off for 15? See, I have a big fan that had to be nailed up to the wall behind the room, so some of the hot air in the outside room (2nd floor) is being pulled into the grow room. I'm trying to figure out a way to maintain lower temps because I also have an AC unit now. Maybe every 15 mins on 30 mins off? Or what if I just left the exhaust on all the time and had the big fan off and on for 15 or 30 mins at a time? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

using a thermostat and motor speed controller is the way to keep temps right.. basically when your temps get to a certain point i.e. 75 degrees, the motor slows down to crawl. then goes back to full speed when it gets hotter.

The room is on the 2nd floor and takes in a fresh air from a hotter source usually. During the day too much fresh air pushed in the room gets to be too much. I figured that keeping the intake fan off during the day and keeping the exhaust on 24/7 allows the AC unit to cool the room down a bit. At night (lights on) the AC unit turns off and hte intake fan kicks on.
