well, i got 2 sunhuts, a 4x4 with a 1000'er and a 4x8 with 2 1000's. this is the best answer i have come across yet.
but i like bigger, better, more power/control.
now, these little tents come in all sizes, and shapes, to say, piece together 1 that fits to your area. a 4x8 tent is really closer to 5x9.4, trust me, i got a 12x11 bedroom, i was thinking the 4x8 across far wall, the 4x4 butting into it, like a big L the open part the bedroom door, NOT, the 4x8 took the whole room, after i put in giant carbon filters. i run air temps with readings on whole room, tent in 3 areas. i run a 400 cfm fan thru tent to cool, i got 2 aircooled lights inline. then, when room is getting warm, i vent wh9ole bedroom thru filter, into houses heating system, with a backdraft dampener to keep heater from feeding hot air into room. (had to cut a hole into my house, toget fresh filtered air into room from outside)
moral of this is, mesure, mesure again, cxheck the actual size, not holds a 4x8 ebb'n flow tray as maybe 4.5x9 or so, get my drift. get the best for what you can afford, because it does pay you back in return. in my experiance, it is the 2nd run on your equipment that really puts you into the profit side. if you pay $50 a week for your sack (if not more) that is $200 a month, in 30 months of saving that is $600 i can put you together a great 3 stage set-up for that, and it will be compact.
build a cabinet, say 2ft tall, 4ft wide, run a 4ft T8or across the lid, even a T5 if it is in price range, this can be a mother plant vegging room. then, build a DYI cool tube, a 600W HPS, and a 3x3 cab for the flowerroom, as tall as you got room for.
now, back to the 1st cab, the veg 1. it should run like 4ft long, 24 to 30 inches deep and 24 to 30 inches tall for plant room. t8 or t5 on top of cab, on lines to adjust higth or the light to tops. now, you can run back lighting, will oldfasion cool tubes, CFL coil lights in areas you feel need a touch more.now, if this room is 24 to 30 inches tall, build up on it, to put in a cloning table accross the top of mother plant room, a 2nd chamber to it, or the 3rd part of this 3 stage home-ops. all you need is cool tube cheapy floro's, 2ft or 4ft long, i like 4ft, cuz the light from the 3ft area in middle is best on cool tubes, and put a humitity dome type tray under the cooltube. you should, if you are thrifty, and inventive, do this build in a walk in closet, with room to spare, for what a pothead spends in 3 months. <-- haha and dude, have you been to my grow journal yet. Basically what I'm all about but way smaller
and expenses, trust me, you do harvest what you put into it. if Co2 costs $20 a month for a closet, and it adds 3 Gr each on 4 plants, thats almost a half Z, $150 in my book, at a cost of $40, i will take that deal,
