how long can plants last without light?

i had to hide my plants and grow box for a few reasons, so i had to put my plants in a space where there was no.

i put hid them for about 4 days without light whislt they were vegging. they were about 3 week into vegging ive since put them in to flower.

my question is are my plants dead because of this or how will it affect them.

they maybe alive still but maybe a lil droopy? i think you should flower now. if they arent dead.

You're saying your plants "might" be dead?
Plants will live without light for only 4 days. But you likely threw it off its cycle which can stress the plant while throwing it now into flowering. Regardless, you can still possibly come out with a good harvest.

How do you expect us to tell you if they are dead? Go look for yourself.
Why did you have to hide them for four days? Don't tell me you hid them from mommy and daddy...

Man your on people about that aren't you lol. Smokes11 it might help them beable to tell you if they are dead if you don't know if you put up a pic of them.

lol i will pss my pants laffing if dude post a pic to ask if its dead......... if its dry and crispy its dead. if its pale green and droopy its dieing....if it looks like how it did 4 days ago its fine

Yeah I am. I feel kids should respect their parents and not put them at risk of getting arrested or their property taken away.
I wanted to grow so badly when I lived at home, but I waited until I moved out and had my own place.
Think about it, why would this guy need to hide plants for four full days?

Yea true i see where your coming from on that. That was how it was when i lived with my parents. I waited to grow when i moved and my girl even said we can grow at her parents house i mean her mom don't care and her dad dont no he just thinks we are doing drugs lol. But he shouldn't say anything about it they used to have a plant of their own lol. but yea i dont hide mine it just stays in the window *soon to be planted outside*.

well i didnt post to get flamed this is my first grow and needed help i dont know what a dying plant looks like, the plants were droopy but thats probs becuase i watered without light. erm no i dont live with the parents i had a flat inspection where i live and didnt think they'd apreciate me growing weed lol.

I think another reason people lay into posters who sound like they are hiding their grow from their parents is that you are supposed to be 18 to use this site.

the main reason we lay into juvinile posters or those who seem to be under 18 is that would be a great reason for the FED's to bust in and shut down RIU. they already arent thrilled were teaching each other how to grow, but if we start teaching thier children the show will be over.
