Happened to me earlier today, was scared completely shitless
OK so I only have 5 periods for school and I had an hour to kill before i had to go back to school to pick up my sisters. So during that time i picked up some cash to pay my friend back for some bud he fronted me and my friends, I go hit my dealer up, we meet up and smoke a bowl. Then we split and I meetup with my friend who's chilling at del taco with a couple friends, and i pick him up so we can go blaze...So we drive off smoke a few bowls and come back, after I drop him off my other friend comes out of del taco and I offered him Oxycontin from when i broke my foot...well he went back inside and called his friends out who came out and checked the pills to see if they were legit and so we were crowded around my trunk and they were looking at it....it looked sketchy (i was high and didn't care) and someone called the cops...well as I was leaving my friend called me and we made a deal and I drove back.....this is where the story gets good....were next to my trunk and i was 5 seconds away from handing him the Oxycontin.... cops pull up behind us and my friend spots em and says put it away and i put it away and zip my bag up. Cops approached us and asked us some questions (is there anything illegal in the car, is there weed, etc) well my friend who i smoked the bowls with had everything and he was long gone before this happened so my car was clean, they asked me if there was anything and i said "no except for some Oxycontin which is prescribed to me" then they say "well that's not illegal so your fine" from that point i was feeling a bit relieved, since i had nothing on us...I was high the whole time this was happening so my heart was beating really fast and i thought i was going to have a heart attack....the story me and my friend came up with on the spot was that I was giving him his stereo speakers back that he let me try out for my stereo since they were still in my car...cops believed it, patted me and my friend down, neither of us had anything on us...they called in for backup and a K9 unit. From that point I was really scared but kept my cool. They asked me if i smoked weed, i told em i did, and when was the last time i smoked weed or had weed in my car (which was just 30 minutes prior to all this happening) i told them about 3 days ago and they continued with the k9 search, the k9 master came up to me and said the dog alerted about the weed scent in my car from when I smoked. Then it hit me, I was really going to get away with this story, both me and my friend both had clean records and had nothing illegal on us. After they search the car and find nothing they let my friend go and since i managed to get this far without getting caught i thought to myself "Hell, I've talked to them this whole time and I got on there good side" so I decided to make small conversation with them and we just got into a convo about weed and they just said about how it leads to other shit and I told em its safer then cigs and alcohol and they just said both weed and alcohol is a downer, at the end of the conversation one of the officers looked at me and said well have you learned anything from this and I just respond with "Not to look sketchy", officer laughed and said no, your wrong and since i was already running late and didn't want to argue with a cop, I just left....The fact I was high and managed to talk my way out of this mess and not get caught, I was extremely relieved once it was all over.

if the cops wouldve arrived just 20 seconds later and my friend would've had the pills on him I couldve been busted for "Posession of a controlled substance with intent to sell"
