I am currently growing Kali Mist. I grow 3 plants at a time along with the rest of my strains. I usually flower for 100 days ad I just chopped one that yielded 64.7 grams...dried and cured.

I veged for 3 weeks and flowered for 100 days. Thats 121 days from clone to harvest. Kali Mist is truely a connoisseur sativa and my all time favorite. I have grown over 10 sativas in my garden and nothing, I mean nothing compares to the high you get from Kali Mist. I have experience with Jack herer...SSH...Tribal Vision...as well as others but Kali Mist wins hands down.

Rocky's convinced me, I have 5 Kali Mist in flower.

First time with this strain, beautiful plants, grows like bamboo - put them into flower short. I had two clones I put in flower that stretched from 5" to 38" and 44" in RDWC. The mother, longest in flower ~ 4 weeks, is already forming buds covered in trichs.

13 weeks, but put a few KM beside some short flowering strains and you won't notice the time.

Rocky Top High All of a sudden Im compelled to grow Kali mist. In my mother chamber I only have room for 2 mother (Ill have to get rid of the Blueberry). I think Im gonna go for Kali Mist & Critical Mass

Hobbes Yeah hes got me convinced too, Im gonna give it a go. By the way I forgot to mention that Ill be growing 23 clones in a 73 x 73cm area (clone to harvest) with only a 400W HPS.

nuskool89 Im after a high yielder...actually the highest yielder their is without compromising potency & taste do you have any other recommendations.

Check these out...The first pic is of 2 of my girls at day 55.

The second pic is of a strange looking bud that was taken hours before chop at day 100.

The third is a pic of the cola hours before chop. After it was dried for 1 week and cured for 2 weeks it weighed 37.4 grams. It is the biggest cola I have ever grown. Thick, full and dripping of resin.

Listen to Hobbes...unless you grow outdoors ar have a warehoue as a grow room put those girls in flower early on. I usually put mine in flower at 8-10" and they top out at arounf 55". I have also been experimenting with topping and femming. If you would like, I will take a pic of a couple that have been femmed. They are simply beautiful.

Kali Mist is my holy grail...at least for now. I have White Widow and WhiteBerry growing along side so the wait was not to bad.

I am not knocking Kali-Mist since I do think it is a great sativa/indica cross (predominantly sativa) but I though you were looking for a sativa, as in a pure sativa. I guess when you said sativa you meant predominantly sativa and then lessened that some since.

So much for you growing a "connoisseur sativa."

If I were looking for a pure sativa from what is readily available today I would likely go with Reeferman’s Willie Nelson.

Location:
indoor, outdoor; Type: sativa; Flowering: ~84 days; No feminized seeds.
Known Phenotypes: » new »
none up to now (homogenous??)
2005 High Times Cannabis Cup Winner - Best Sativa

An F1 hybrid between Vietnamese Black and Highland Nepalese . Its Willie favorite smoke , he tried it once and bought the whole crop. What else do you need to know? How about a sweet and sour, lemongrassy flavor and a reasonable 10-12 week flowering time? Good mold resistance and a friendly, soaring high round out the package.

Inside Finish Time: 10-14 weeks / Outside Finish Time: Late November / Variation: 3 / Odor Level: 3.5 / Mold Resistance: 4.5 / Yield: 4 / Ease of Growth: 4 / Feed Level: 4.5 / Stretch: 2.5-3x

Another good option could be Wild Thailand.

Location:
indoor, outdoor; Type: sativa; Flowering: ~78 days; Normal or female seeds.
Known Phenotypes: » new »
none up to now (homogenous??)
Way of cropping: Outdoor/indoor
Race: Pure race obtained from Ko Chang(Thailand)
Genotipe: 100% sativa
High: Less than 1.5 m indoor/ until 3 meters outdoor
Wide: Depending on prune. Some branched without prune
Growing time: 1-2 weeks(indoor)
Harvest time: 75-80 days indoor/last November outdoor
Resistance to mushrooms: High because belongs to wet clime
Resistance to plague: Depends on the plague.
Irrigation tolerancy: High
Yield: 350 gr per m2 indoor/ 450 - 600 gr per plant outdoor

Medicinal value: Average (medium content in CBD). Aplication like an antiemetic and in treatment of intraocular pressure in glaucoma

Smell: Sweet, intense
Flavour: Fruitysweet
Effects: Energetic, long life effect.

THC Level: 22.3% measured upon the rest of cannabinoids.(taking an account THCV too)
9.7 % measured upon the rest of organic substances belonging to buds like: aminoacids, sugars, terpenoids, vegetal hormones, and cannabinoids (determined by gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry)

Pure landrace coming from the islands of Ko Chang (Thailand). Is one of the varieties with the highest content in THC of the world. It is loved by Thailand croppers who take it to Bangkok affording the hardest law of this country.

Is one of the varieties more productive in Thailand, maybe because of being one genetic variant produced by those expert croppers, because of it, it has a relativy short harvesting time.
Its smell and flavour will close you Asia, and its effects will take you to the mysterious temples of Bangkok.

Or you could pick Hawaiian Sativa.

Location:

Hawaiian Sativa is a pure Sativa (origininating from the big Island of Hawaii and found in abundance not far from Mauna Kea.) that's been bred and stabilized for more than 20 years on Vancouver Island.

Sugary with crystal, it has a very distinct citrus odor and flavor that's easy to smoke for patients with breathing problems. Tall vigorous growth with few branches, very cactus shaped. This Sativa is a favorite amongst patients for its energetic and up high with increased alertness.

Height: 8 feet
Flowering time: 10-12 weeks
Yield: 8 oz full size. 3/4oz in a 2 gal pot
Harvest outdoor: Nov 1 to forever

Or a number other true sativas.

]also let me know how the White widow[/B] & whiteberry compare to the Kali mist.

Which White Widow, whose White Widow are you asking about? I know of 24 different breeder’s strains called White Widow and some are predominantly indica and some are predominantly sativa. There will be a difference.

Did you mean the original White Widow that was renamed Black Widow?

Without saying whose White Widow you are asking about you will likely end up very different opinions. All may be accurate in regards to some certain strain of White Widow but they also may mislead you in general in regards to whichever White Widow you may decide to purchase.

Hey, no problem. I will take some pics when my lights come back on tonight.

As far as the White Widow...I have tried several breeders but I have found that Seedsman is the best as far as high...yield...taste. Again, there will be people that will have their own opinion but thats all subjective as well. I am speaking from my experiences growing it. The high is totally different than Kali Mist. The Widow will slap you in the face. It is a hard hitting, long lasting type of buzz. As long as you only take a couple of hits, it will be more of a "head" high and you can funtion as you do your daily tasks. However, if you smoke a couple of bowls, you will find yourself in the fetal position, laying on the couch in a pool of drool. :eyesmoke:

The yields are pretty good. I veg my Widow for 6-8 weeks and I get 40-50 grams dried per plant. It is a medium size plant that is covered in trichs from the second week of flower till harvest. Very easy to grow and will make you an instant hit with your smoking buddies.
The highs are totally different between Kali Mist & White Widow but they are 2 of my favorites.

Here are a few pics of my Seedsman White Widow...

As far as the WhiteBerry...It is without a doubt one of the prettiest plants you could ever grow. I had never tried Paradise gear before but if this is any indication, I will try their gear again. The plant is a big yielder. I veg for 6-8 weeks and flower for about 60 days. I get 50-58 grams of dried, cured bud. The bag appeal (which is not important to me) is top shelf. Big, rock solid buds that are covered in trichomes.

The buzz is pretty much a body stone and it can put you to sleep after a bowl or two. The taste is very good and smooth. It is more of a "stoned" type of buzz vs a "high" type of buzz that Kali Mist offers. They are on the opposite ends of the "buzz scale". I will continue to grow it in my garden for a few more runs anyway.

The Kali Mist and White Widow have a home in my garden. The WhiteBerry will only say around for a lil wjile longer simply because I prefer a more "up" type of high.

Here are some pics of my WhiteBerry...

The first one is as I flipped her to 12/12.

The second is one of the buds at 45 days.

The third is at day 50.

The last is one of the dried and cured buds.

If you have anymore questions just let me know. I will try to help in anyway possible.

WOW that whiteberry really does look cool. Thanks for the pics & comparison.
Regarding the Kali Mist strain, how long do you veg for & how many grams do you get per plant also what is the volume of your pots in litres & what medium do you use?

I veg for about 2 weeks or when they reach 8-10 inches. I then flower them for at least 100 days. I have flowered them for 112 days but have yet to smoke any. It is still in the curing stage.

The ones that go 100 days I got 56 grams dried. On the one that went 112 days, I just weighed it the other day after 1 week drying and 2 weeks cure and I got 72 grams. These are very good yielders...at least as far as my grow is concerned.

I will get you some pics of the ones that were femmed. Check back...I will post them later tonight.

Here are those pics I promised. These were veged until the one that was femmed reached 13" and was placed in flower on 4/20. :hump: It is now on day 19 and she is 41". She is about done with her stretch. I imagine she will top out about 46-48". She is covered in buds so if I just stay out of her way and give her what she likes, she will be a prize! The femmed one is the first 2 pics.

The second 2 pics are of the topped plant. She was placed in flower @ 15" on 4/23. It is now day 16 and she is 44". She has a bit more stretch left and will probably top out at 52-54". Thats taller than I would like but I have the headroom...barely. I just didn't have the room or I would of flowered them sooner.

I also have 3 Kali's that are on day 70 of flower. One has been topped and 2 have been left to grow the way they want. I can't say how much I enjoy growing this plant. Her fragrance...her taste...her high, all are very unique. The high has no ceiling...You can smoke yourself into a stupor if that is what you want. She may not be the best to some but she sure is special in her own way. Enjoy...

Rocky Top High Judging from the pics they grow much more vertically than horizontally which is what I need in my flowering area. Im sold Im purchasing kali Mist as soon as I can.
What medium do you use, hydo or soil?

Im planning on growing it in 3.6 litre pots (25 plants perpetual grow) all in soil. Could you share a little info on nutrient intake during the veg & flowering cycle as Ill be veging for 2 weeks & flowering until its totally ripe & when the pistils have all turned amber & receded inwards.

I only get to veg my clone for a couple of weeks to help control their size, so I like to get as much N into them as I can without burning them. Since I don't veg them very long, I use Alaska Fish Emulsions...Liquid Karma...Technaflora Thrive Alive B-1. I also use Great White Mycorhiaze early on so that I have a good colony of beasties. I add Great White about every 2 weeks until the 3-4th week of flower, then every 3 weeks until week 11 or 12.

The Fish Emulsion is a great "instant" shot of N and since Kali Mist goes into hyper grow during the first 21-28 days of flower, I have found they really respond to it. As soon as I flip'em to 12/12, I give them a "transisition dose of 10ml of Pure Blend Pro Grow...10ml of Pure Blend Pro Bloom...7ml of Karma...7ml of Cal-Mag and 7ml of ThriveAlive B-1 per gallon of water. I use this ratio for the first 2 weeks of flower.

During weeks 3-11, I use 25ml of Pure Blend Pro Bloom...10ml of Karma...7ml of Cal-Mag...7ml of TA B-1 per gallon of water. I use the mixture every other feeding. The other times, I use a tablespoon of moleasses per gallon of water to feed my colonies of beasties. Thats pretty much it.

Oh, one other thing...on weeks 9 & 10, I use 6ml of pk 13/14 as a bloom additive for 3-4 feedings in a row. On weeks 13 & 14 I flush with moleasses only. I also ph my nutes at 6.5 until the last 2 weeks at which time I run it at close to 7.

My soil mix is as follows...

50% Ocean Forest...25% Warrior Light...25% Perilite with a spinkle of Dolemite Lime.

I use a 600HPS with an air cooled hood. That is pretty much how I get about 12+ zips of luscious Kali Mist buds every 14-15 weeks. I don't sell, I just keep my stash filled up and I donate the rest to the underground medical canabis clubs in my area. At the current time, my state does not allow medical cannabis so I enjoy trying to help some patients out.

I guess thats pretty much it in a nutshell. If i can help in anyway I would be my pleasure. Just be patient and allow them to ripen fully. Seriously, 2 weeks at the end will be huge in both high and yield. Don't chop a day before day 100 at least IMHO.
