Getting caught growing in California.

If you get caught growing, under the feds 100 plant limit, without a MMJ card, in California do you get into a lot of trouble or are they pretty laid back about it? It would be my first offense and I would have about 75 plants.

I'm trying to determine the best state to move to. In regard to risk vs. reward. I just saw that in Massachusetts you can grow up to 50lbs and it is only a misdemeanor. I'm wondering which state is the most laid back about cultivation sentencing?

Well ya I have seen that page that is how I know how much the "book" says you will get. But I was wondering if anyone themselves or knows of anyone that got caught in Cali with a good amount of plants and if they actually HAD to do time. I would think if they were laid back enough there a first offense would only get you a fine and probation.

my experiences with getting caught with above the legal limit of plants is that they take away the amount of plants you are over by.

this has happened with two different people i know in the past year. take it for what it's worth...
