hey guys its me again i have some pics of my plant, shes about 3 or 4 weeks into flower and shes beautiful, so my question is, my big light in the middle is a 85 watt cfl that plugs right into a regular household socket(can you believe that, pretty awesome) but anyway i was thinking about bying an aluminum dome for it, but if i do that ill be eliminating about 4 of my smaller cfl lights because the size of the reflector (its just a regular 12 inch diam dome reflector) so what would you guys do would you leave it without a dome or put a dome on it and take out a couple of those smaller lights?? thanks

i'd swap the big one for 4 small ones. the big ones are really not as intense as i'd hoped for... however, reflection is a good thing. add a reflector :p

Maybe try to find some thin(fairly easy to bend, but rigid enough to hold shape) sheet metal(aluminum), find the shiniest you can get, and then make a big reflective 4' cylinder around it all.

I've always wanted to try this, take a 5 gal round bucket, and put aluminum sheet in a cylinder right inside the bucket's lid going up several feet, then a circular(cone) reflector for a light that slides into the cylinder trapping 100% of light.

do u think i should invest in some mylar, my closet is kinda white but how much of a difference would it make if i got mylar
Aluminum puts the reflectivity in reflective Mylar.

What Mylar does do better than aluminum foil is specular reflectivity. While most Al foils are around 50% diffuse, Mylar foils are typically around 25% diffuse. This means Mylar has a higher quality of reflection, and reflects higher intensity(more focused) rays.

White paint is the flip side, negligibly specular, hugely diffuse. Spends out light is all directions 'randomly'. Not focused at all. Not intense, either.

Al foil is a nice middle ground, IMO.

Used HID shades on craigslist can be had for 20 bucks. You could probably rig it up for all your cfl's by drilling a few holes.

Ne suggestions on how tall and how much of a yield I would get from this plant
Let me throw my blessings out there and take a wild guess - just by the pic and knowing the light setup and how she looks in 3-4 weeks of flowering, I'm going to take a stab and say 11-14 grams dried... but if you add some more light and keep her flowering for 9-10 weeks (don't get too excited and chop too early) and keep your leaves from obstructing the bottom of the plant so it can get more light, you MAY be able to pull out 18-22 grams dried. :hump:
