If anyone can read my last thread - I was asking about the state of my new seedlings looking bad....

Everyone told me "Bring them closer to the lights"

I did that....

In 24 hours - they are all (but one) brown and wilted out completly -

They look burned.....

I'm starting to think (maybe out of paranoia) that I was sabatoged?

I apologize in advance if I'm offending anyone - but I don't undertand how my seedlings could go from robust....to sick ...to now dead....

By what people told me to do.....

Am I getting fucked here on purpose?

Sigh.....

I'm at a complete fucking loss.....

( posted in another thread )

My seedlings are wilting and turning brown.

In one day they went from sick to dead - after I brought the lights closer -

WHAT THE FUCK??

I'm losing my mind......

I am using t5's also and never burned up a sprout....did you have air movement? fan blowing? humidity? if you had low humidity and no fan, i suppose that could of done ya in!

I just read your other post here, and I concur that the advice given to you was correct. Those seedlings are stretched as hell.

As for your current problem, pics would help, but i'm guessing either nutes or temps are the problem.

Not a lighting problem likely. Id check for nutes in the soil or bad ph. If you read some grow videos you'll get a better grasp on Marijuana horticulture.

BTW - the burn is likely nute burn or PH burn. Do you have a ph meter and did you fuck up and feed thenm in the first 3 weeks with anything?

Just looked at your other post..

you streached them to death. No saving that. Also, fill your pots up with hydroton. Thats totally half assed how you have it now. How is the hydroton going to keep the moisture in? More hydroton and also, i leave a little standing water in my cloner to keep the humidity up. You want very high humidity for seedlings..

I totoaly 100% agree with this post.

First off, those plants got streched way too bad and it is almost impossible to bring those back from the other side. Also, those few little pebbles of hydroton in there are doing absolutely nothing. Fill the bottom half of the cup with hydroton and place the rockwool on that and fill around it with more hydroton. Also, only water this cutting once every 2-3 days with ph'd water. If these have any life in them left, Water them good, leave the light 6inches from the tops and leave to grow. Good luck.

Ok - Ive read everone's replies

This first answer applies to all.....

I asked earlier if I should nute the seedlings of offer foliar spray

EVERYONE who replied told me no

And so:

No I HAVE NOT ADDED ANY NUTES AT ALL.....

All I did was place the seedlings under a T5 and spray them with Ph (6) Distilled water

As far as the comments regarding the Hydroton Pellets:

I thought it DID NOT MATTER until I had roots

I have NO ROOTS

I am putting the rockwool into net pots with no pelltes because ..well what good do they do?

What are the Hydroton pellets doing for the roots if there are none?

The only reason (AT ALL) that I have the pellets in there now is to keep the rock wool dealio from LEANING OVER

If I keep a seedling in a Rockwool sprouter, and then place it in my Prop Tray, they fall over

Moreover- if I put it in the Net Pot, they lean to the side

So since they were leaning - I put just enough pellets in the pots to keep it standing up straight.

(If you look closely - you can see tha some of the pellets are anchored against the side of the pot - this is to keep the rockwool standing straight up)

Again to reiterate - no NUTES at all....

I am merely trying to get them to sprout roots so I can then transplant them into a Hydro system....

I have followed the directions of all here and all Ive seen....

Step by step (or so I thought)

Initially my seedlings looked good - now since I have put them under lights - they have worsened.

No Nutes. Just water...

Any advice?

One more thing - regarding the Hydroton Pellets

Before I put them under the lights, I had pellets in the net pots -

As soonas I put them under the T5 - everything began to change radically

Thus my opinion:

If the PELLETS are not TOUCHING the plant.....what difference does it make?

Any comments about not enough Hydroton Pellets makes no sense to me as of this logic.....

If Im wrong - please tell me - and tell me how and why....

Thanks

My guess would be a combination of the massive stretch and the possible increase in temp from lowering the lights a foot. I would say add a fan, but they are probably too lanky. You could probably add something to support the stems or transplant and bury them. just my 2 cents, good luck man.
