we don't just ban people because YOU don't like them. there was NEVER a reason to ban him. i have seen 40 year old adults here act dumber than you. how are we to really know. i try not to judge.

And I never attacked him - ever! Look at everything I said because I'm very careful with my wording. Try a little harder not to judge...
i meant that not as an attack. i was trying to say, how do we decide who to ban? i know it sounds like an attack, it was not meant to be.

I don't think Joker was being harassed. If it came across that way - sorry. But I've seen a slew of ADMITTED 17 year olds on this sight recently and I will call them out on it every time. The mods can't be everywhere at once. I just wish they wouldn't come down so hard when we older members try to look out for the best interest of the site. So many people bitch about the mods on this site and I've NEVER been one of them. I've always stuck up for them, in fact. So it's disheartening knowing that three mods openly dislike me, when I don't think I act out of line (save for every once in a while, when I'm quick to apologize). That being said, I apologize if Joker isn't what's his name (even though he's under age)...

FDD, I write this with all due respect and deference to your position as moderator.
I find it odd that we as a community were asked to donate in order to upgrade the RIU servers; meanwhile Maryjaneindeed (a minor who was banned temporarily before he decided to show us, once and for all, how clever he thought he was) was allowed to run amok in the forums wasting bandwidth.
His antics did not go unnoticed; as the record would clearly indicate were it not for the fact that several of his more odious threads were deleted.
Our skepticism is neither trivial nor unwarranted. If I have a valid opinion I will express it if I so choose.
Perhaps we jumped the gun on this particular new member. If so, I apologize.

I've been thinking of donating to become elite as well, but worry about the bandwidth issues as of late. We'll see...
